So how did you get that lower bolt out that was hitting that bar? I'm having that issue right now. Was making good time too.

Christina Clabough, I had to use a floor jack and a block of wood to jack up the corner of the oil pan until you have clearance to remove the bolt.

I got lucky and did not have to take the bracket off. I removed the 2 bolts holding the sway bar to the chassis and took the sway bar end links loose and it will move out of the way to get the bolt out. You can leave it bolted to the chassis on the driver side.
