This would have been very helpful when I installed mine! I really enjoy the kit. One thing to watch out for is the sealant that holds the plastic vapor shield, I got some on my hand and got it on my button instantly

Very smart to think of this mod to bad Toyota didn't think the same way in the first place. Well done. If possible to buy and send to Australia I'm open for that. If not if your happy to share your information with 3D printing also open to that.... Great job once again

The prints aren't complex, but there is some hardware (for the handle) and you'll need and rod bender and aluminum rod. I just printed out these parts and they look great, Question is where does one go to find the metal tab that you put the sewn sling onto?

Thx for the feedback! Those are some weird stainless aerospace surplus things I've sourced in burbank (not online), but if you use the wedge part as a spacer any old bolt on D-ring would probably work well.

I hear ya. I have a trailer with a roof top tent and love it, but some nights I want to travel light and stay off the ground. It's also nice to have an option to sleep a kid or other solo camper camper in there.

This thing looks awesome. Do you know if a fold down table like the bison gear would block this latch?

I just looked at the bison table and it looks like when it's folded up it blocks the port. I know there's a fold down that works with it though. Another user was able to make it work. Just not sure what brand it is.
