Yeah, I caught that as well. You'd think that an "official" type advert would have taken more care. Flip the images...need to take care of the small details!

Maybe a single under layer of hair spray would have made the sanding easier? Good job

I feel that a layer of hairspray would add "sticky" layer and since I wasn't using water in this process there would be no need for it..

i like how the roof turns out, not so much on the body panels. Perhaps using an eraser or compound for the body would be better?

Perhaps, Zal. Just experimenting. Turns out the roof is fiberglass, and so those effects are now gone! LOL.

This is why mmp is such a good paint for weathering. Very easy for chipping and doing abrasive wear and tear.

@@RickLawlerPropaganda yea only have about 5-6 but I’m really liking them. You can use a slightly SLIGHTLY damp brush to remove layers of paint in different fashions. Similar to hairspray chipping without the hairspray and MUCH finer chips. It takes some tinkering to get use to it. I got turned on to it from mr Mike Rinaldi of coarse.

You've probably already corrected the top, but that elfbein amber color you used looks good for old fiberglass. The question then is whether Toyota used red oxide or gray primer over it. My guess would be gray as they painted white over it.
