I too have the Ad600 and Ad400 and it's not that they are too powerful for me, but the portability and still have enough power. I bought two and I am adding a third for a location kit. You won't regret it!

Anyone know why the buttons are not working on AD300...I can turn it on but can't turn the flash off...the buttons aren't working at all but xpro can trigger the flash.....

I have a query. You are shooting in broad daylight and the aperture is 1.2 as well yet the shutter speed is just 125 or 250....!!!!! Are you using ND Filters....?????? Looking forward to your response.

Hello. In your film from the photo session, the parameters 1.2f and 1/250 100ISO are given, can they be real? In the film, I see that the photo session took place on a sunny day. Did you use the ND filter or did you make a mistake when writing the parameters under the photos?

Would the Flashpoint connect with the X2T trigger with Canon? Also, would you have to match the id on both?

Yes it'll work with that transmitter and you don't need to match the ID on them. That's just extra security security you can use or not use. The channel and group need to match though.

Hey there, how're you? maybe you can helpmeet with a question. I have a pair of AD300Pros and a X-Pro Trigger, and for now have no light meter, so I want to use the TCM function. The question is, which of the options for the TCM I must use for correctly expose with the AD300Pro?, in the menu I only have 'Speedlight (the icon)', '200j', '360j' and '600j'. Thanks in advance!!

U suggest the flashpoint xplor600 or the new godox 300 or 400 pro? I found a good deal on the xplor for Black Friday which is cheaper than both the pros. I’m only trying to start with one so what would you suggest for overall useage?

Autofocus always unless I'm taking a photo with strong sun behind the subject. That's where it can be difficult. Sony has eye-AF and I think its what I used for the serving photo.

Question..I bought the Flashpoint 300 pro. and love it, but cant fire it at the lowest setting of 1/256 with my on camera transmitter it wont go lower than 1/128 ?? any way to shoot it at 1/256 ??

Hi, I love your videos and finally bought your suggested gear. I will be going on location but I find that that stand (stainless steel Neewer) is too heavy. Is there a more portable stick you would recommend. I don't have an assistant so won't have anyone to hold a monopod.

I highly recommend a cart like this: amzn.to/3hxrgol Helps so much at my shoots. Without it is a pain to carry gear. The weight of the stand helps keep it from falling and I also hang my camera bag onto it for weight.

Those are magmod gels for their Magbox. They don't fit the 300 Pro. I ghetto rig them to fit using gaffe tape.

I like the idea of the AD300 compared to my AD600 pro and Ad200 pro as I have the desire for an in-between power range that is lighter, however, I usually use extension heads due to my worry with wind, etc (Already lost a ad600 in the past). Sadly, this has not been available yet for the Ad300. Might still try it, but that would be nice if they came out with a head extension for the 300 as well.

AD300 or 400Pro? Both on sale at Adorama and they are only $20 difference! I really love the portability of the AD300 but for the good price of the 400Pro and it's power... it's really tempting. In you opinion, is the slight heavier weight and a little more power worth it being more $200 cheaper now from the regular price? Or just go with the AD300 if the reduced power from the 400 not that big? Thanks for your advice!

Shouldn't be. Maybe at the specific store you are looking at and maybe because the AD360ii is already considered "rare"? In my country the AD360ii is considerably less

The Godox AD300 Pro is a much newer model that has a built in battery and other features I went over in this video. The AD360II is an older Godox light that looks like a speedlite on steroids and uses a power pack.

Hello Sir, thanks for the detailed explanation. I have a question - I am a beginner photographer from India and I was asked by a fashion startup company to shoot their apparel with models/mannequins in the studio. Our budget is very limited and I am looking at Godox AD300 Pro with a 120 CM Octabox as my key light. I already have a Godox TT685 and a small softbox which I can use as a rim/hair light or as a secondary source to light up the background. Could you please suggest if the AD300Pro and 120 CM Octobox would be enough to light up head to toe shots? Please suggest.

LOL... at 14:38... loved the little dance. Love your work. I was wondering, when she was serving the ball, why didn't you try HSS so her hand was in focus or was the look you wanted? Also, what do you of using a 2nd lighy in that scene? Her left side was a little dark. Great video as always.

I wanted the motion blur in the action shot. I definitely should have used my second light for that. I agree with the shadows being a bit dark.

im just wondering, why having great strobe but you always use it from a close range to the model ? then reduce the ligth power to fit your setting ? is it work by using a cheaper strobe and doing the same ? is it affect the quality , efficiency and productivity ? because in the end you retouch it in the post production, its just not look different by using cheaper strobe
