I always take a look at your composition, placement of your light and your dodge and burn as your pictures are always a great inspiration.

Another awesome video. Please make a dodge and burn video! I've learned so much from you already but that is the one thing I can't seem to get a good grasp on.

I really enjoy your videos. I have already learned a lot from your footage and i can definitely see how your skills have improved too. I would appreciate to hear how you decide what to dodge & burn. Maybe you would like to do two seperate videos for that. One just for faces and one for everything else. Keep going 💯 Greetings from Vienna 🤙

Since you were out in some wind, I'm betting those lines weren't transferred from the mask, but from hair blowing onto her lips then being dragged back as she fixed it or just blown back against her by the breeze. I've been there!
@fjhphoto4 жыл бұрын
I wasn't sure it was the mask but the lines being made from the hair does fit. Thanks!

great idea to do a break-down of your dodge & burn technique.looks like you use curves for the different layers?

I've been using singh-ray variable ND for years and saw your videos about the clip-in ND filters for portraits - AMAZING work! I see you like the 6 stop ND - but isn't that too much? Wanted to get your thoughts on which two to purchase. I was thinking 3 stop and 6 stop so I have options. Would you agree? Thanks for your feedback! Best regards, Michael

Such an amazing video! I've learned a lot from you man! Really appreciate it! A quick question. I am using a crop sensor camera and wondering if you recommend using 24mm to get the same result? I am having hard time capturing more background and using a strobe at the same time. I want my light to be close to my subject, but I have to get the lighting at least a little bit in a frame.
@fjhphoto4 жыл бұрын
A 24mm on a Sony crop would be 36mm so yeah that'd be fine. I have three crop lenses from Sigma (16, 30, 56) but those equate to 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm. A 24mm would be the closest to 35mm on a crop.

Great job! Do you ever just use Lightroom or do you always bring your photos into photoshop after Lightroom?

Hi sir. If I buy a variable ND filter to shoot portrait, should I buy 2-5 stop or 6-9 stop? And filter I want to buy is freewell. Is that filter good for shooting against the sun or not ?

@@Lucy-dk5cz I shoot with 2.8, but I currently have AD200pro, so I feel like high speed sync is good enough for me.

Can you have a link to a filter shop? Do you have a discount on the purchase of filters?
@fjhphoto4 жыл бұрын
This is it - bit.ly/stcopticsfilters No discount on them right now. Hope to change that though.

Sir what monopod would you reccomend for godox ad600 pro with westcott xxl.
@fjhphoto4 жыл бұрын
If possible use a c stand. Monopod is usually for when you have a lighter setup. If you can use a stand then the PhotoFlex Litereach Plus monopod will work great.
