Nice video…. I am just looking to see if the price for the fan kit is worth it….. I have a 2022 new defiant and approx 3000 sq ft’ bi level. Stove is on lower level.

Sorry for the late rely! If you have never had a blower on the Defiant, the fan kits certainly make a noticeable difference in the heating efficiency of the stove.

Do you have Video that shows how to install it on a Vermont defiant wood stove? Any help would be appreciated thanks

No videos, but the installation manual for the kit does include the Defiant models!

Question. What is super quiet? Can you plug it in and take a decibel reading via your iPhone and post? My new Defiant just arrive and if the blower is quiet I will purchase from you.

What is the maintenance for these fan blower kits?
@fireplaceblowers6 ай бұрын
Since the bearings are sealed, there’s no lubrication or oiling required. However, it’s sill important to keep the blower clean, so routine care should be taken to ensure the blower doesn’t build up debris over time. We typically recommend once or twice a season depending on how often the blower is used.

So this will replace a blower on my defiant that is not working anymore ?
@fireplaceblowers Жыл бұрын
Yes, this is the blower kit used on the Defiant models. If you have the blower already installed, we carry a replacement blower only option as well that will save you a little money vs buying the complete kit again. Call us anytime at 262-989-4882 and we'll be happy to help. Regards, Jason

Would it work with sterling g direct vent? Manual calls for blower part number 95-57010. Is this same or would work ?
@fireplaceblowers7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately not. The HearthStone stoves require specific fan kits, so in your case, you would need the 95-57010 fan kit. Shoot me any questions to support@fireplaceblowersonline.com and we'll be happy to help. Cheers, Jason

@@fireplaceblowers Yeah they discontinued that fan blower. Ive looked all over for one. No luck. Not sure if a wood stove fan would help any or not. But thanks for answering back.

@@GaryB1975 Are you just replacing the original blower or is this a first time installation?
@GaryB19757 ай бұрын
@@fireplaceblowers blower wasn't put in by last owner it was optional to get. I was trying to get one and add it so would spread heat around quicker and better. It was professional installed in 2000 as direct vent with propane conversion kit. Previous owners told me they didn't take blower option but part number I put in first message is correct and can be added to stove. But vermont claims that blower is discontinued. And finding one been no luck so far.
@fireplaceblowers7 ай бұрын
@@GaryB1975 Yeah, this kit was discontinued by HearthStone a few years ago. Your best bet would be to call a few local HearthStone dealers and see if any of them have one on the shelf still. They usually sold for around $600, so pricey kits for sure. Short of customizing a mounting solution yourself, that may be your best option. We can always supply you with a "universal" kit, but it would require some customization to properly mount it.

Mine is so quiet it doesn't even run, just put it on and fire has been going for over an hour... No dice

Stove has to heat up to above 120 at the temp sensor. This can take more than an hour when cold. Or else the temp sensor is defective but probably not. You will be thrilled when it kicks on. It heats up our 2300 sq foot 3 level house beautifully with ceiling fan at the top of the stairs to move it along. You have probably discovered this by now.
