I find it quite ridiculous that actual KZbin musicians such as Sarah aren't on the KZbin Music Awards.... I mean there are some people who are actually KZbinrs but they didn't really cover anybody that are fan favorites aside from Lindsey. Where are the people who create popular content that isn't auto-tuned garbage? Like, who the fuck is Shamir and Migos? I mean respect to them for making it on here or whatever but still, if you are creating a Music Award show give credit where credit is due. Where is David Choi, Chester See, Andy Lange, Christina Grimmie, SarahClose, Andrew Garcia, Josh Golding, Epic Rap Battles of HISTORRRYYY, hoorahjencar, Timothey De La Ghetto, HIKAKIN, THE LIST GOES ON FOREVER. All of those people work their asses off to create content on KZbin but none of them got credited or rewarded. And who are all of these dancers? Maybe they're known outside of KZbin and I get they're professionals but this is supposed to be based off of KZbinrs right? Why not add in dancers that originate off of KZbin. Such as Camren Bincondova, Ian Eastwood, and you know a long ass list of people.

solarge knowles The word "artist" was the subject in my comment's first sentence, not "song" as you seemed to have perceived it. There is more to a video than just dancing, and I am also fully aware of her previous work. If you disagree with my comment, why don't you suggest another artist who has been able to stand out from the musicians of their time in music and in video as much as FKA Twigs has since the time of Bjork. I'm not saying you can't, but I'd sure like to know who else you feel has.

Ok I will explain the video because most dont understand it. The dance they are doing is called Vogue and the dance isnt really that weird once you are familiar with it. In this video they are mixing new way and old way vogue. In vogue there are different groups all around the world and they all are called houses. There's House of Zorra, House of Mafia, etc. The founder of the house is called the Mother so this explains the scene of the birth. She is basically the mother of those vogue dancers that appear on the runway.

I take offense to someone being so condescending that they feel others need an explanation of a video. Music , dance and film are open to perception of the viewer. Your opinion is just that. This is mine...enjoy the film let others do the same without any preconceived notion. Then , let the viewer further research the arts involved if they so wish...sorry to seem snarky, just that for some face value is satisfying...

SteveStevens Ohh. lol. Have a sense of humor yo. If anything, I believe art helps us rid ourselves of our own stupidity/ignorance. Take my comment for example, when someone is in a state of "morning wood" they tend to be more ignorant and only have sex in mind, very primitive. But, by watching this video it pulled me out of that stupid state of mind and into a state where I was able to appreciate this amazing piece of art. (:
@PeerGyntTheOnion9 жыл бұрын
So, she gives birth to the other dancers and this is sort of representative of the artistic creative act itself. Each dancer is somehow an explication of her own being, they are different aspects of her which come to the world through artistic creation. Two of the sons look at themselves in the mirrors on the trees and they become conscious of themselves. Then there's the- i'd say "iconographic"- adoration of the mother in which she is lifted in the air. In the end she''s alone on the runway, therefore she IS every single dancer we saw before.

I so love this. Great music, great voguing and video. The start may not be to everyone's taste but this is art. Art is subjective. It is so lovely seeing my old friend the legendary Tamsier Joof at 3:42 come out of retirement to do this video. He is one of the original voguers in London back in the day. Such a versatile dancer, talented and humble. I so wanna see more of him and hope that he comes back to the dancing profession. So talented and inspirational.

Your opinion ;)
@jonasorens78639 жыл бұрын
No really.She sells less albums,isn't noticed no more,and has proof against her that shows she has stolen madonna's fashion sense and songs.Take Madonna's "Express Yourself" and Lady Gaga's "Born this way" for example.The notes and Rhythm is exactly or almost the same.

Brackground: 16 gay m, not hipster, visual artist, prefers edm and punk rock music Given the above info about me, try to understand that my personal tastes and preferences have nothing to do with this artist's ability to make and perform music. I don't like her music because it's not my kind of music. but my music and video taste have nothing to do with the quality of Twigs' work. Her music may not be aimed for you. It may not appeal to you. But that doesn't mean it should be labeled with judgments like "horrible" or "it sucks". The video did not appeal to me but it probably was not intended for me anyway. But that has nothing to do with "how good it was". I can recognize the time and effort put into the music and the video. I can see the talent Twigs has to make and express her art. So if you want to say something in the comments, say it correctly. Tell people how or why the video didn't make sense. Tell people what you found creative or unappealing. But don't make judgments like "everybody in this video is physically ugly, including the singer." or "At what point did you people think this was even remotely good"

Daniel Morgan Nice sentiment ... but this is the internet, people will write what they want so you're better off just accepting it. Anyway, one could equally say: if you don't like the negative comments that people write simply ignore them, they're harmless.

Wow........I have loved music and dance since my mom was playing her albums when I was 2 and 3 years old and growing up you see the way the sounds and music videos have changed and sometimes someone comes along and makes you fall in love all over again with music as a whole and FKA twigs does that to me in everything she does. ☺

Every time I watch this, my love and appreciation for the arts grows a lot. There is an infinite amount of beauty in this video from the colors in the beginning, to the way she actually has some diversity and uniqueness to her backup dancers. Some of these "pop stars" should really follow her lead.

You're one of those brain washed people who thinks that what ever isn't mainstream is demonic. Educate yourself sir, this indeed is art since if you do pay attention to the lyrics, it gives you a message, plus the vogueing in the video is giving you a message also.

OMG I know the black guy @ 3:43. He is one of the old time London voguers in the late 80s /early 90s. I'm sure he is my age group but he looks so damn good in this vid. I used to see him in the club scene. Yes! Go on Team London. Please can anyone tell me what his name is?
@dancersinternational45149 жыл бұрын
That is my old friend the legendary Tamsier Joof. He is one of the original London voguer back in the day. Actually, Tamsier retired from professional dancing years ago but was probably asked to appear on this video. I hope he comes back to professional dancing. He still looks amazing as ever.
