But recently, I've found a renewed love for FKJ. I mean this guy blends ambient, electronic, jazz, blues, r&b and funk in his music. He plays a lot of instruments. His live sets are fkn amazing and you can really see the artistry he puts into his songs. And He works with June Marieezy who is talented, beautiful and amazing. A few days ago I had a younger friend who passed after a long hard battle with cancer. Not at one moment was she afraid of death or complain about the chemo sessions or even put up any fuss. She always smiled and put others in front of her. She cried when she had to leave her city to start a new treatment only because she didn’t want her mom to have to leave her older sister at home alone. Up to her last moments on earth she was singing worship songs and praying. Can’t make this part up, literally in her last moments passed with a smile on her face because she knew she was going somewhere so much better. So glad you’re in a better place baby❤️
