This is so grate I just built out my go to kit and hadn't seen this video yet and ended up with almost the exact gear list. It just makes sense.

Love my First Lite gear. Corrugate Guide pants are hard to beat.

My corrugate guide shorts and my obsidian merino pants are a must anytime I pack a bag.

I’m happy to say I bought this exact kit before referencing this video. However, instead of the jacket I opted for the sawtooth vest.

Why the kalamath over the kiln or why the obsidian over the foundry pants? Gracias 🙏

Hey guys new to hunting. Should I go with Sitka or first lite?

Probably the cheaper stuff to start

I'm a early to late season hunter, bow > rifle. What's a good kit for minimal layering, late season, low 30's?

something warm and comfortable..... fleece is great cause it is quiet when you move. Dont need a line of credit to buy fleece hunting gear.

Wish you could find it in ontario

I believe you can only purchase stuff online and they do ship to Ontario, Canada and it's very fast. Usually I made an order on a Thursday and received it by the following Tuesday. Great quality gear for a reasonable price compared to the competitors.

Unless you want one of their new nemo tents, for some reason they say they can't ship those to Canada.
@jonathancaverly64774 жыл бұрын
@@andreweddy86 I highly doubt that these tents are going to give anyone cancer unless they plan on somehow consuming the material they're made of.

Obsidians shred like lettuce. Mine lasted 2 months

Andrew Eddy, I have never owned hunting pants from a hunting manufacturer that lasted, their all overpriced trash. All pockets and no brass!
@andreweddy864 жыл бұрын
Ya. Lesson learned. There is no way he has hunted these clothes all over the country on countless hunts without the articles getting shredded and just replacing them with more free gear. Sitka, FL, Kuiu, are not in touch with the common hunter. Over priced and not durable.

Mine lasted 2 days. Hit a dead stick with my knee and they tore like a napkin. Unreal. Wasn’t even sharp.
@joelaubrey18184 жыл бұрын
@@andreweddy86 yeah - I should have sent them back right away - they felt so flimsy... but I read all the reviews about them being "ripstop" and all... I truly did my research - and was shocked how few people shared my experience!

Mine lasted one six-day elk hunt before the crotch tore a small hole. Super disappointed. The corrugated pants are my jam though. Wear those every chance I get and they LAST.

I love the show and everything about how you go around hunting and teaching and giving but man your gear is so effing expensive.

Their $h!t is too expensive.. when I hit the lottery I'll think about buying that stuff
