Yeah, you really make great vids. I have been using FL 10 for roughly three months now, and am just now learning how to scratch, sample, etc. I AM however, finding a real difficult time finding vids that discuss recording Midi Controllers, and even more importantly, Vocals....I find myself having to export my FL file, and use Garage Band to record my Vocals. I KNOW that I can achieve so much more inside of FL Studios. I figured, you'd be the guy to ask....Great Vid.

A good way to prevent choppyness between your samples, is to add your own drums and then sidechain the kick to the sampler

there are only two things that i hate about slicex 1st is it that if find it uncomfortable to not being able to play a track by pressing the spacebar and , one must move the pointer on the play button. 2nd is that unfortunately it is not possible to enlarge slicex like in edison.

I want to put a sample in Slicex and set it to play to end, and record while playing the keyboard to make a loop, but the moment I turned on play to end, the notes kept overlapping. Do you happen to know a way to solve this problem?

I have been trying all types of ways to sample but nothing is working, I think my song selections are what my problem is. 2 much singing and the tempo switches alot should I go 4 the instrumental intro's like yours was and leave the singing parts alone, and where can I get those sounds from.HELLLLLLPPPPPP

My problem with slicex is that when i press the keys on my keyboard, I have to keep pressing the key for the sample to play fully. How can i get it to play the full sample by just pressing the key for a short amount of time? Also, is there any way to extend the ending of a first chop further than the start of the 2nd chop just like on an mpc. This makes the chops flow better..

I know these comments are years old but if somebody comes across wondering the same thing you need to time stretch each chop, slicex has a built in time stretch that will do all individually you just need to know each beat.

HELP! when i drag a marker to line up with a downbeat on any audio file, it does not let me move it exactly where i want (like what he does at 4:44). When i move a marker, it always moves a fixed amount away from the downbeat, no matter what i do. How do i fix this? Is it even possible to fix this?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? Every time i try to sample I always mess up. I want to put my sample on the sequencer. And I'm able to do it with no problem.
