the meta with this game is doubling the tempo and setting the time signature to 8/2. makes it so that you can have eighth notes or sixteenths if the tempo is fast enough.

@ really try to get good at pushing the limit of the app. range limits, tempo limits, limited monster selection, measure limits, and time signature limits make it pretty tedious to make stuff in general. layering monsters is usually good at bringing out melodies that may be quiet. some good combos I use pretty frequently are Fung Pray + Rare Reedling, Sox + Toe Jammer, and Toe Jammer + Dandidoo (this combo is really good for stustained chords). since Composer 2.0 came out a couple months ago, you can have up to 5 of the same monster on the island. this is really good for an artificial echo effect by playing around with the volumes of the different versions of the monster. and I mean lastly you really just gotta be patient with it. copy pasting measures is tedious, having to copy paste monsters individually is so time consuming, but when stuff starts coming together it really is so satisfying to hear.
