I love the trick adding the distortion to the bass and turning it on and off...learning new stuff until I die !!!! In Edison , instead of recording on input change it to record on play and it gets rid of that lil bit of silence at the beginning....why its there I don't know

My main problem is I've been making music in AUXY for years. I can render my songs as stems and transport them into flstudio. But I'm struggling with how to perform them like this with performance mode and my Akai Fire. I can't find anything at all that explains the settings in flstudio.

I see how you can record master to Edison. But how would you record this as separated stems? Particularly if you are changing parameters with knobs etc?

@Cedric Bradley Yeah, thanks I got it. Also in recording options you should've "record automation" selected which was the issue in my case. Now it works and life is good. :D

bro nice video thanks. But the boosted highs on your vocals is too much. next time use mid to make your vocals clearer and when its there before you add some highs for shine.

There is no way to record automation in Performance Mode as you can in Ableton or Bitwig. This is a big drawback to using it.

The way you showed only applies to the sketch of the piece. It is unprofessional! You would have to have a mixed project ready for mastering - and arrange it on such STEMs. Otherwise, it makes no sense :)

This video isn't helpful, you don't explain how to sync your MIDI go the DAW in order for the step of Latching to work. I've spent 2hrs trying to figure out the looping and im using the SAME tech as you. Please be more specific next time.
