Live performance is literally much easier to understand and set up in Ableton. Like making a light show performance is much more creative in Ableton so I suggest you actually try it. As an avid user of Ableton and FL, Ableton is actually kinda superior

Awesome video! For those who want to try this mode but don't have (or want to buy) a Launchpad or similar. @cody_raves9 ай бұрын
you can do this! just export the songs as a wav or mp3 and load each track as a sample if you right click the sample and select fit to tempo you can stretch the track to fit your current projects tempo. with some effects you can use a filter or parametric eq to filter between one song and the other you can TOTALLY use this to DJ with your tracks in FL

Hi there ! :) I just get confused with 2 problems. 1 is that I can't upload file from desktop into fl studio. Whats the reason of this? And the problem number 2 is what should I do that the file saved in performance mode would show me all that I had saved. Just to show everything what I saved while performing live
@OmoiSenpai6 жыл бұрын
Hey! Not sure why you are not able to upload a file from the desktop into your FL Studio. Most of the times, closing and opening FL Studio again can help that issue. As far as saving the performance, you can go to file, save as, and save it as a new file. It will keep all the data from the performance mode. Keep a project before you've converted it to performance mode if you wish to be safe!
@EugeakaEugene6 жыл бұрын
Justin Omoi I don't know why there is no file that I saved on desktop or in folder. When I try to find and upload, there just no file at all.. Also, I tried to save in different formats like wav, midi. Maybe the main problem is that I'm using a demo version of FL studio so I can't open projects?

Hey man, I could imagine that you exported the whole track, so that the beginning (with the muted performance patterns) plays at the beginning and so you dont hear anything. Maybe? Try to select only the right part/the right patterns before you export. You can do that clicking the right mouse button on the line above the scroll bar and drag it. Hope this helps

It's been a while since I've played around with performance mode. If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to use the keys on the keyboard to play specific patterns. Here's a quote from FL Studio's help page though, which I'll link for you: "Any MIDI controller that sends MIDI notes can be used to trigger Clips in Performance Mode, however 'Pad' style controllers are particularly well suited to live performance." www.image-line.com/support/flstudio_online_manual/html/playlist_performance.htm#playlistperformance_setupcontrollers I hope that this helps!

is it possible to work with multiple tracks as in for a real live set ,lets say 10 tracks, not just one song at the time, thats what i keep seeing, is it actually possible doing it on fl or not??
@OmoiSenpai4 жыл бұрын
If you do set everything up in that project, More than likely, it would be possible to do! There is over 500 Tracks that you can use in FL Studio. If you set up the tracks right, you can be able to transition into everything the way you would want it to be. Using a performance Midi device, like the novation launch pad, can really help with that as well!

Aye! The way I go about recording the Audio for my videos is through a portable recorder, the Zoom H1, connected through the Focusrite 2i4's RCA ports in the back for output 1-2 If you want to record FL Studio wtih OBS while FL Studio is using the Asio driver for Focusrite, you will NOT be able to use it in OBS to record. You should be able to use OBS with the Focusrite's microphone IF you are using the Direct Sound Device option for the Focusrite 2i4, rather than the Asio Drivers. Hope that helps ya understand that better!
