I got you. Thanks for the questions. All my instruments have their own tracks (Kick, 808, snare, melody) because I want to process all my drums together and all my melodies together-they get their own group. Normally, these sounds would go straight to the master, but I wanted to process them separately. Inspired by Michael Brauer's technique, I use multiple busses: one for drums, one for bass, one for melodies, and one for vocals. Each bus has its own processing, like compression and EQ, to make everything sound tight and cohesive. I've taken Brauer's method and tweaked it to fit my style. U should turn off 'Use loop points' in ur template.

I'm glad you mentioned this. Loop points in sound kits can be problematic, especially depending on how the sounds were exported. Most kits with loop points tend to be low quality. Only a few sounds, like melody loops or 808s, benefit from them, and even then, they must be done right. For most sounds, loop points are unnecessary and just slow me down. Also, FL Studio doesn't always remember the loop button's position. Sometimes it keeps the settings, but often it forgets when you import a new sound, which is frustrating.

It's more about the presentation for people who a) mainly watch his channel and are interested b) are just getting into production and might prefer his presentation to other old videos or c) producers who just want to freshen up on mixing techniques (me). Nothing in here is new to me, but I still enjoyed the vid.
