FL2K23 Didn't Go Well, but Testing Did! New Personal Best!

Hey, Joe here! After not making a good showing at FL2K23 I knew I wouldn't be able to rest until I knew Britney was running correctly once again. So, I found some testing and left with a new Personal Best 8.89 @ 159mph!

Joe, have you thought about the air turbulence from the bumper to turbo? The opening doesn't look very large and I'd expect some nasty turbulence off the edge of that opening. Maybe a velocity stack off the turbo and through the bumper might give you a tiny bit more power? I'd think t hat anything you can do to increase compressor inlet pressure would help. I love watching your videos!

The opening is 5” and the turbo is 4”. I do have a velocity stack I will try on the car. Just been busy making it run on all 4. I already see BIG effects from inlet pressure down track. Thanks!

Plug wire fixed it. Last pass at FL2K it ran on 4 cyl but the BOV line came loose so it only made 20psi…

Any mesh has been proven to be a restriction. This is a track only car. They are commonly run like this.

time to get rid of the wires and just go smart coil and ditch the cdi box.

These are IGN1a Smart Coils. No CDI box. I had a bad wire.

@@JoeWrenches in that case disregard my comment. IGN1A's are fantastic but I personally wont use them due to the plug wire. Just one more failure point, I personally am running GTR coils on my car and love them.
