I am not sure, if this is going to impact my future travel visits to USA? My friend requested help, he wanted me to drive Canada - USA border for flagpoling. He wanted his work permit, which he was waiting for 6 months and if not he would have had to fly back home. I had no knowledge on what flagpoling is. Out of courtesy, I decided to help since I had a valid 10 years US visa and a Canadian PR. I have traveled to states twice before this, once for a quick single day visit and next for a week shareholders meeting. when I reached border, the US immigration asked the reason of travel and I mentioned that my friend requires flagpoling. He did not ask me for my status and requested our passport. We told to wait at the immigration office and than officer brought a letter that stated “refused to admission/parole” and crossed oN “refused admission into the United States”. Below table had both our names mentioned/written with a pen. Randomly below the table they just wrote with a pen Flagpole and than we were told to drive back to Canada and hand it to the immigration officer there. They took the paper. I took a picture and have a copy saved. Not sure if that’s what they do? Please advise if this would result in any kind of complications with my future travel to states ? kinda concerning, since I had nothing to do with flagpoling and I was just a driver. I hold a valid USA visa and a Canadian PR. Response greatly appreciated

Hi Meet, yes even if you have applied online you can go for flag polling but you need to pay again 255 & the one which you paid online will not be refunded

Hi Ujjwal.. very informative video. I am yet unsure about one thing. As i have my 1 + 1 study.. i only had TRV for my first study permit.. after the extension of my second study permit.. I didn’t apply for TRV .. so would that be okay if i go without TRV but with valid study permit extension??
