I ordered an ECM for a 2008 cadillac cts 3.6ltr. It took a little over 1 week to come in.When i opened it i noticed my ECM part number didnt match the number on the flagship ecm part number. I was a bit concerned cause i thought you had to have the exact same number from what was removed from the vehicle. I installed it and started doing the key programming. First attempt failed. Then i connected my snap-on verus pro d10. Cleared all codes and redid the key programming. Ater the 2nd key programming the vehicle started no issues. Vehicle shifts properly and has no misfires. My only gripe is that they put the no tamper sticker on the side of the ecm. Whenever i placed the ECM in its bracket it cut the tamper sticker cause its a tight fit. I just hope me accidently cutting the sticker doesnt void my warranty. Other then that im happy. I paid $395 for the 2008 cadillac cts 3.6ltr ECM from flagship. The dealer wanted $1,600 plus the ecm was on back order and couldnt tell me when it may come in. I would have to pay and would have to have waited however long it took the dealer to get it. The dealer said at least 3months possibly longer. So i bite the bullet and took the chamce with flagship. I do see other peoples reviews about it not working out for them. Idk if theyre car savvy or just DYI mechanics. I will be buying more computers from flagship. I will also give an update after a few months.

Glad it worked out for you. It seems to be pretty hit or miss and when their stuff doesn’t work, they keep over half your money. The parts they send are dirty too like there’s no pride in what they do.

Denise: Thanks for this great presentation. I bought a refurbed & allegedly re-flashed, PCU from these guys. After its arrival, I was calling 2-3 different places I know that install customer supplied parts, and the FIRST guy I talked to, told me that Flagship was nothing but trouble, and advised me to send the unit back & get my money, which I did, in full. Unlike you, I wasn't asked for those fees they made you pay. I wrote to eBay and sent them the link to this video, and suggested they read some of the additional commentary about Flagship that former buyers had posted. I couldn't understand why a vendor with a 5-Star rating had this much venom written about them. I don't know if eBay watched your video, or read those comments, but I want to thank you for this heads up, which saved me 200 bucks. I suggested to eBay that it wasn't normal for a vendor's rating to be perfect, and the commentary I read about Flagship products compared these products to something you shovel in a horse barn. And how damn lucky were YOU, when the part from the junk yard (vs. their "refurbed" unit) worked perfectly ???? Again, thank you, you did the public a great service with this video

Thank you! People kept thinking I was lying about the one from the junkyard working. So at one point, I had 3 of them with me. I would use one of them to drive with, unplug it and plug one in i originally had in my vehicle to roll the windows up and down 😂 It was a mess and I was over it so I got rid of the vehicle altogether. Replying to myself: I got the PCM in today (Monday 10/03/22), and it's working wonderfully! Engine idles smooth. Runs really nice, smooth, and all. I only need to have the new PCM learn my Crankshaft Position Sensor as indicated by my code scanner (P0315). The process seems time-consuming... I will have to buy a gas pedal stick as I couldn't keep my foot stable enough after 5 minutes...it needs more time to relearn it. Wish you all luck with your order. Mine seems to be good. For now, at least. Chill...

You have to disconnect the battery before installing this so it can have a complete reset. (Atleast that worked for me)

Just bought a TCM for my 2008 Chevy Avalanche and if you use FS1, you better pray you don't have any issues with the part. Nice little scam they have going. Order a part that when installed does not work, the same part was most likely returned by a previous customer because it did not work and then keep 60% of the purchase price when it is returned again for not working. 60% return on your money. I would love to get that rate of return. These guys suck.

That's too bad it didn't work for ya. I got an ecm from them for my 2003 Saturn(reduced power light on) and it works perfectly after the key relearn process. You should also tighten the mounting bolts cause it's part of the grounding for the computer. My experience was good sucks that yours was not. Good luck

Horrible customer service, next to no communication! Thankfully I had paid with PayPal and was able to file a dispute and get a refund. @@ahdasick I actually did use the ECM from Flagship but found a local mechanic shop that physically cloned my old ECM to the new one. This satisfied the security issue and got me going with the new ECM. So if you keep looking around and find a local shop that knows how to “Clone” the old ECM to the new one that may solve your problem, IF you still have the Flagship ECM. I hope that helps some.

Denise, i feel bad you had this problem too. i recently dealt with them and its been a complete horror show, they sent me a PCM that does not start the vehicle i know it was the pcm cause i swapped one out of another identical vehicle works fine, i filed a complaint with the BBB and opened a dispute with the credit card company, the bbb has over a 1000 complaints, on these POS. there isnt enough time in a day to read thru them all. my PCM was sent to me in an envelope being dropped & tossed around in the Fedex truck. This place should be closed down ASAP

Not well, I paid to return the PCM to them "for testing" and they said there is nothing wrong with it... which is where this video comes in (mind you I had been fighting with them for nearly a month already). I finally got them to send me a refund MINUS restocking fee, my cost to mail it back, their shipping costs for both times the shipped it and 20 percent of the cost of it. I got about half of my money returned. It was a massive scam

Most remanned computers have to do a relearn process (Fords - key relearn) . I purchased one from these crooks that was supposed have VIN installed which I gave them and it didn't. I have been a technician for over 40 years with plenty of experience with programming PCM's in cars and have the equipment to do it. I agree with earlier post about them getting junkyard PCM's that can't be reprogrammed because of obsolete processors and internal parts, cleaning them up and reselling them. THen they fight you all the way to keep from refunding your money. They say it worked them, must be something else wrong with car that is not their fault. That is their crooked business model!

Wow! you're lucky anything works. First thing you HAVE to do is unhook your battery, ground at least. All it takes is a small surge of 5 volts and it can fry something in the ecm. Probably why your junk yard ecm is only doing part of its job!

@@terrellscaife2411 nah ctm is allittle different. It controls light timer s and security system, automatic windows and such. I had a stereo installed on my Durango and they used a wire from my ctm and it caused my ignition coil to malfunction . It was a green and yellow power wire under dash. I also got a pcm from fs 1. Took 3 weeks to get and was over priced. Not saying nothing bad just a pointer. Also sometimes the tilt steering wheel column will break wires and wreak havoc. Hope it gets sorted out.

I had sent it to be "tested" at my expense figuring they wouod see it was a POS but no, they sent it back saying it was fine so I recorded the whole thing when It arrived. It was my only vehicle at the time so I went to to junkyard and bought one (10.00) and used that to drive to and from work but it wouldn't operate the windows or lights so if it rained, I was either without lights or didn't drive. After they sent it back to me and I took this video, I ended up selling the vehicle as is to a dealer as a trade in. But ya know, judge as you see fit lol 😆

Jbeez I don't remember what caused me to take the vehicle in other than it would not drive at all anymore and I initially thought it was a fuze or short in the engine wiring or wiring harness near it. I ended up taking it (driving on the junkyard PCM) to a local dealer that told me it needed replaced (I put the original back in for testing to be preformed and showed him the new one too as that's the one I drove in on). The conclusion was made that the PCM definitely was the issue

follow the procedure for battery replacement, remove negative terminal 1st, then positive, and connect the the 2 wire terminals together while NOT ATTACHED TO THE BATTERY. this will reset the computer.

Worked just fine in 5 of the 6 cars ive got one from them for including an audi that module experts charged me for then kept my module plus my money and never sent my module back. 5 out of 6 is pretty dammed good by my standards you need to clear your security code which syncs with the chip inside your key which you arent doing if any ecm company needs a class action suit its module experts 200 bbb complaints and most arent even getting modules returned ! My 70k dollar Audi would still be sitting with a car cover on it if it werent for flagship 1 the next step would have been a dealer.

The vehicle was so old it didn't have a chip in the key unless I am missing something. They even got one of their "experts" to speak with me, watch the video and then told me that I installed it all according to their instruction. They just didn't want to give me my money back at all

I couldn't. It wouldn't stay running long enough and I was getting headaches from the gas fumes it was producing in the van. I ended up having to use the one from the junk yard to drive.
