I've gotten two ECM's from Flagship One. Both are working fine so far. It did take about two weeks to get them but for the price and in one case, a new one is non-existent at this time,, I am very happy with my choice.

Flagship one did me wrong I bought a computer from my truck and run in over a year they sent me at the second one it don’t work they said it was my fault the reason I couldn’t warranty they are crooks

Mileage is not on the computer it's stored in a separate system my mileage never changed when I replaced the computer

KZbin algorithm suggested this video. I have my own video on flagship one and it is not a positive one. The reality is, your paying for a "100% tested and refurbished" unit (their own words on their website). They sent me a bad PCM (so much for paying for a 100% tested unit). Almost a month I waited before they tested it and found "nothing was wrong with it". When it got back, magically the no bus message was no longer there but I had no ASD control out of the PCM. So my assumption is they sent me a different PCM, they got mine back, it tested bad, and had to source another one to send me. Thus leaving me waiting for a month. When the second PCM ALSO didn't work, I asked for my money back and was told I was out of the return window. Ah yes, so their lie, saying I was wrong and the first PCM was fine, counted against my return window. I made a video and a 1 star review on google, then got a call the next morning saying they would refund me. When I called back I asked for every penny back as the "non refundable programming charge" is not my fault they never provided me what I paid for (a refurbished 100% tested PCM). If they actually refurbished it, then programmed it, I get it. But they do a rustolium refurb, updated it, slapped a warranty sticker on it, then I got to be the sucker dealing with shipping PCMs back and fourth for a month. In the end, they gave me all my money back, it took some effort. After another 30+ days of waiting because UPS packaged it terribly and the package with no contents made it to FS1's local ups warehouse. So I had to wait for them to be refunded by a UPS claim before they reimbursed me. Nice. I ended up buying an PCM off ebay from flashmasters. Just the look of it looks like they cared. It didn't have a bs "warranty void" sticker like FS1 to discourage me from opening the PCM and seeing they did nothing to it (side note, I did open the cover and it was completely untouched inside, the board is potted on these in a sealant so any repairs require removal of this sealant, it was completely untouched with a layer of dust on it). Flashmasters worked the first time and was everything I they said it would be. FS1 will never get another dime from me. I will only use flashmasters from here on out.

Was just reading over the comments, looks like everything worked out well. Keep us posted on how things hold up over time. So far, the Jeep Wrangler TJ is still running. Has some other problems but nothing related to the PCM.

My uncle is actually doing the work and so far he said the PCM is doing everything that it's supposed to and just as you said with your vehicle there's other issues with it but not related to the PCM. Which is a huge sigh of relief on my end because the PCM was the most costly part of the repair! 🙌

I ordered one of their ecm two weeks ago and I still have not received the unit. They advertise that it takes 5-7 business days and that appears to be not true. When you look for the order status on their website it comes up blank. I have called them several times and they give you a bunch of nonsense as to why I have not gotten the unit. Someone sent me an email a couple a days ago saying they are working to get my issue resolve. I emailed them back saying if I do not have the unit in 3 more days i am filing a complaint with American Express to get my money back. Not happy so far with their service.

Bought a ECM from flagship 1 about two years ago for my dodge journey was having transition shift problem kept going into limp mode the price was good the computer came fast two weeks I think installed it transition shifts like new motor runs smoothly and actually runs better then before haven't had any problems I drive the car every day so yes I think they do a good job

Sorry for late reply I actually did a unboxing on the flagship Ecm it has been a week I connected the terminals and unplug the Ecm and reconnected it and idled the car at 2 rpm and tighten each screw now it’s working fine so I have to cross my fingers but this far running great thanks bubbas garage and flagship one

I just ordered a ECM last week and have already received 3 emails. First one confirmed the order and the warranty documentation. The second one went over “key pairing” since my 2014 chevy equinox has a “factory security system”. They mentioned if I had a currently working key to program the new ecm I would need a UN-programmed key as well. Not quite sure completely if I truly need an additional key. 3rd email they sent out stated they have a high volume of orders and my order has been delayed. So I’m a bit skeptical at the moment and crossing my fingers.

I know this is about the jeep. I saw your video when you first used it . To this one was about 4 years . My 2011 equinox is working but I keep getting the same check engine light and keep replacing the same part dealership today said it’s the ecm and wants 1600 bucks . Not to mention they said up to 90 days to get the new one . I googled it found flagship1 . It’s the only company I found are there any other companies ?

Flagship one sent me a ups mailing label to use. I used the provided ups shipping label, took it to ups and my ecm was lost by ups. Because Flagship one was the shipper they insured my ecm for $100.00 only. I had to pay to replace my Mercedes ECM $1600.00. Customer service was bad. I mean bad! I had used Flagship before and everything was fine. Not this time won't use them again nobody cares at Flagship One. I lost $1600.00 using Flagship.

Well, I have a 2011 Chrysler T/C and I due to ECU issues, I have to replace it, so I got a Flagship One ECU. I did had to wait a bit for the replacement ECU, once I got it, it was properly installed but my van would just crank and will not start. The funny thing is that the van would start with the faulty ECU, but will cut out and the old ECU would reset itself, which is why I had to replace it. So, contact Flagship and they wanted me to disconnect the battery and let it sit for at least 1 hour, then reconnect. Anyway, the results were the same, so I will be sending the unit back, because they want to check it. However, in the meanwhile, I will still seat with my van unusable until I get either the same unit back or a new one if they deem it necessary. I think that the possibility of a mis configuration is the issue, as my van would start with the old ECU, so I will see once I send this one back and get whatever they will send me. Anyway, nice vid, very informative!

Well I ordered my flagship one and I haven't installed it yet it took me about 3 weeks to receive. I'll let you know if the unit works. My problem is I have a 2011 RAV4 variable valve solenoid has no ground. All cables are fine but the only thing that I think it could be is the ECM. I'll let you know what the outcome is

I have a 2010 Ford focus bought a remanufactured ECM take it to Ford did not work car wouldn’t start they had to put back the old one in and the P0420 code still there waste of $850 all together I did get back a replacement one what to do cause don’t want to pay Ford $300 to put in and don’t work and $150 to put back the old one

Buyer beware. I bought one but it wasn't working and I actually had more codes come on I get everything I said she rode my car to get the codes even though it was in limp mode. They said it looks like I have al wiring issue and they didn't think it was to PCM so then I had to take it to the Jeep dealer which the PCM was acting like my car was an automatic and it's a manual and it was like going to blow up my transmission yeah I got to wait another like 3 days to see if they think the PCM is bad like my car wouldn't drive with it it was going to blow up my transmission it's bad. Very long drawn-out process.

The problem with flagship 1 is they go in to the ecm and add the Vin number in it but a lot of cars has different sorce codes they can not change them I bought one for a 2006 caddy it would crank after I did the key lean process but my ac would not cut off so I went in to the program and the Vin that I gave them was right but not the source codes you would have just as much luck buying one from the junk yard .that's where they get them they will not give you your money back there plain is they hope you get tired of sending the ecu back dont waste your money with them go to the junk yard and take a chance .

Glad to see your video. I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. It's in the shop Right now and they put a new pigtail on the injectors because they were kind of loose cost me over a thousand bucks. They called me and said that I need a new PCM because cylinder two and three are not connecting to it and they believe that the reason why is because it was driven while running bad the way it had been. I just bought the truck and didn't know anything about it. Just felt like it needed a tune-up. So we changed all the plugs, all the wires and the coils. They said that everything tested out and they tested when they got done with the pigtail to the injectors and came up with this. Does this sound correct? Thanks either way. How frequently do the computers in Jeeps fail? Like I've heard of people reflashing or completely swapping them out for performance reasons, but I don't think I have ever heard of an actual failure.

Great question. Seems to be a common problem on the older Jeeps for sure. Haven't seen to many replacements on the 2007 and up. But I could very well be wrong.

2006 commander - my pcm / TCM are all in one unit, and it’s been causing my transmission to randomly shift into 3rd / limp mode, even at highway speed (not good at all). Ordered mine on friday, hope to have the new one by this coming Friday.

Encouraging videos, but I have questions about 07 Merc Milan that is currently running with chk engine lite on. AutoZone FixFinder says ECM/PCM Reprogram. Ford Says ECM is obsolete, will not reprogram oem nor aftermarket. Is product from Flagship One remanufactured OEM? (mine?) or reproduction? Is it core exchange?

Good video thanks! Waiting on my ECM delivery for a 2009 Jeep JK from Flagship-1. Ordered on 3/2 and shipped on 3/14. I did call them to change my shipping address at the last minute and the guy I spoke to was nice on the phone but was hard to understand with a heavy middle eastern accent. Fingers crossed this ECM fixes my bad coil driver the old unit had, and that they programmed it to my vin.......

It's an ecm replacement so your reader should work the same after you swap it out.

Wouldn't start even when it did start Alternator wasn't even working While bunch of dash lights on dash that weren't there before. Contacted them via their website. Having viewed this and a few other videos make me worried now because I just ordered one for my '06 Trailblazer with the trouble code P0601. I placed the order on the 21st (and today is the 23rd) and the stats still says Processing... For sure, there are lots of negative posts about Flagship One. My SUV is now sitting in the garage, waiting for its brain. Hoping for a smooth brain replacement procedure. Otherwise, I will be without it for the unforeseeable future, however long that will be. Wish me luck!

Great question, original replacement installed in November 2017. It then failed In June 2021. I filled a warranty claim on their website. Followed the instructions to send it back for repair. Installed the repaired one and worked just fine. I think the hardest part was the wait time but that's about it. No hassle at all.

Found this video trying to find help with my pcm. I order a PEDS system, sent me PE08 system. Said it was compatible for my car after I questioned many times. Now I'm stuck as the part they said was "compatible" won't turn over my engine. Tried telling me my key was the issue and needs to be reprogrammed as well, it's not. Now I'm sitting here waiting to hear a call back from my "account manager" to be able to help me ir answer my questions. The fact that they didn't tell me I was getting a different part than ordered to begin with was the most frustrating but now I'm furious. I have to get to work and was supposed to be on a long road trip to visit family. Now I don't think that's going to be happening. I'm glad they helped you, but man I'm feeling like I'm left in the dust by them.

Hey don't worry l when I put mine in I got more codes then when I started and they told me after pushing them for days to get an answer mind you that they're text finally looked at it and they determined it wasn't the PCM thought my car was in automatic when it's a manual and it like was ready Diplo up my transmission

@@stacydolci3621 yeah the worst part was I work for Mazda and it was for my Mazda. All it took was for me to use my software at work to see it was in no way comparable and prove it to them. They almost didnt fully refund me. I did finally send it back after about 4 weeks with a full refund. They were persistent on it being for my car. I would never use them again, its better to spend that little extra and go through a dealer to at least order the part.

The one I ordered wouldn't work. Would not sync to my truck and unlock the anti theft system. I sent it back the other day and hope the issue gets resolved.

@@tinman7180 yes, and even after installing it I it drives a little stronger than before and I no longer get check engine lights

It's kinda dumb that Jeep put the ECM in the engine compartment with the elements and the heat, what can you do? It's a dumb design...lol

I had a problem where my cooling fan wasn't coming on but I just got a adjustable fan controller instead and I'm hoping to swap my automatic for the 5 speed manual that's totally mechanical, and by an AEM EMS 4 aftermarket engine management for it instead. It's a 1995 Saturn SL2 but it runs like a missile still from all the bolt on's and upgrades I've done.

I got a 2010 Toyota Venza. The guy I bought it from said the fuel pump just stopped working. Well he got a ECM from flagship one and it came with this little black box you gotta plug into the DIAGNOSTIC PORT under the driver side dash to program the key to the new computer. But it doesn’t seem to work. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Never dealt with customer service really. Just filled out the paperwork to purchase and that's about it. Do you have the tracking number per chance. You should be able to clear that up with the shipper depending on who paid for the shipping. I don't recall if we paid or if they provided a label or not..

@@BubbasgarageTv Flagship One was the shipper they paid for the shipping that's the problem. Can not get Flagship One to help us. $1600 ECM that they lost. (ups tracking # 1z51ftw070397748404) Flag Ship Order number h 1100781 We drop off the ECM at UPS store # 0765 My ECM to never be seen again. We have proof that we dropped it off at the store. Because Flagship One was the shipper they are the only ones that can insure the shipment they only insured it for $100.

@@TKO-NY Flagship One never helped us they told me to sue them. Flagship One never even gave us the UPS insurance money $100.00 for losing our $1600.00 ECM. Flagship One made the mistake of under insuring our ECM via UPS. They should own up to replacing our ECM.

@@AdvantageAutoRepair1 yea, they most definitely have enough negative reviews for me to steer clear of them. I think Bubbas is most definitely affiliated. Especially with his reply to you above, he was too quick to blame the shipper and dismiss them of any wrong doing.
