I picked up the summer gold edition a couple weeks ago. So far it is one of the only clay pomades or unorthodox pomades I have tried that holds strong enough for my hair and keeps its style which is great, but the scoop and breakdown are so hard haha. Just a slight negative, but i suppose it has to be that way for such a strong holding product. Good stuff overall

Advice for summertime hair products? Like I can understand maybe no oil base when it's hot and sunny, but what else should you look for in a summer hair product? Also vice versa the jagership is advertised as a winter product. What is recommended for that season?

I purchased Dead Sea Clay about 1.5yrs ago and it was impossible to scoop. Gave my hair a cement hold. I really think I got a bad jar. It might have been old or the water just evaporated or something, because it was nothing like the video above. Scent was nice, it smelled like a spicy ocean with notes of jasmine and ylang ylang.

Hello MMTV first of all thank you sm for these amazing videos i had a question about one of your older videos just wondering if the arcadian matte paste is if it is light weight? i’ve tried layrite matte cream and shear revival northern lights and i’ve noticed that my thin soft hair likes the matte cream over shear revival because it doesn’t weigh my hair down, any other recommendations really looking at the stickmore cream :)

Minh Dang I don’t see any change in the formula. The label got an update but I did not see a change in formula. All the formula changes I was made aware of was discussed in the video under the corresponding product. Hope that helps you out!

I don’t have a top 10 I have probably 400 jars at my home right now. I don’t see how I could possibly choose any type of favorite. There’s new things coming out every day. A week after I chose a top 10 something better could come out.

Just coming as a cosmetologist and a person with fine hair. I would advise you not to say that lighter products work better for fine hair, because that's only true in the sense that a lightweight product is good for fine hair. Although anything that doesn't have very very strong or extreme hold is not going to hold a fine haired persons hair in place. Not only will it not hold it all day(or even a few hours), but if there's any type of light wind, or even breeze(or anything like that) it will just blow right over and lose shape and style. So as a cosmetologist and fine haired man, I would recommend that you don't say that the product would be better for fine hair, unless you have tested it on fine haired person first-hand.

Thanks for your opinion! I appreciate you weighing in! My words aren’t just something I make up though, I’ve done lots of testing. I’ve made and collaborated on dozens of products and each one is tested on multiple hair types. When I make statements it’s from experiences I’ve had in the past.
