While the RF Zaku is a refined design, it itself is not a refitted unit. It was scratch built based on the basic design of the Zaku II, but with modern alloy construction and internals based on the Geara Doga. The power cables on the exterior of the RF Zaku are actually fake. And are only there to keep the appearance of a Zaku II.

Nah, just that this opens up a lot more possibilities for the future. As often as new variations of One Year War MS get created I don't think they'll ever be fully done with early UC stuff.

GBO2 is VERY inconsistent with how they release suits, for the most part they will keep going forward in the timeline but they will at random take something from further back in the timeline and add it in whether it's some more obscure suit or just something they forgot to add like they did with the Full Armored ZZ or the Alex Chobham Armor
