Flaky, buttery homemade biscuits are the perfect balance of light, tender layers with a crisp, golden-brown exterior. When you break one open, the steam rises, and the inside reveals a soft, airy texture that practically melts in your mouth. Each bite has a rich, buttery flavor, with a subtle, savory undertone. The flakiness comes from the delicate layering of dough, which results in a crumbly, melt-in-your-mouth feel. The outer crust is slightly crunchy, offering a satisfying contrast to the soft interior. They’re ideal for serving with jam, honey, or even alongside a hearty meal.
