Most of my life I felt like an oddity with my broad face, broad shoulders, small breasts, wide rib cage and a flat bottom. I was way ahead of my classmates in junior high with my height and my siblings would call me "Amazon women" which was very unflattering to them - and me. I felt too tall, too broad and too much. i have some thoughts, since i am also probably a FN but i don't like boho. think mini skirts with big sweaters or long kaftan-type jackets; leather pants with an oversized top; long, relaxed straight skirt (not a pencil!) with a distressed long sweater; 1920s style dress with dropped waist and long jacket; an asymmetric shirt over palazzo pants or wide jeans in a dark wash; long metallic or leather jacket with a loose slip dress; velvet in a loose style, like a jacket or dress with some fullness, could work for a goth style. mini skirts and textured stockings are recommended for us, just keep the outline relaxed. relaxed/open weave sweaters are great and fishnet might work so long as it doesn't look flimsy. belts around the hips can be great, too, so long as they're dramatic or unusual. i find that big chunky scarves or long scarves and shawls are good too; layers really work. big color blocked sweaters can also be good and don't look boho

Perky I think Is more difficult, but FN or D should look great with Trad Goth style! Black is considered a dramatic color and monochromatic looks look amazing with Ds! They somehow look bigger bc of larger bones. Then, in the process, I decided to think more about my bones -that are really thin, long and sharp. That is the D skeleton, and those are the fitting lines for me. At the start, I focused too much on the details of the questionnaire, as bust and shoulders, and so do many others, I've noticed. Hope this helps somebody.

I’m still not sure, perhaps because I find it really difficult to be objective about my body. I’ve been overweight for a while now and.... it’s hard to accept that me. I started this journey thinking I’m a classic but with your guidance I realised in sharper so naturally moved to dramatic classic, from there to dramatic as some people told me I remind them of two woman who are verified dramatics. Then I thought I’m a soft dramatic as have some curves. I then realised I’ve got stronger frame so must be flamboyant natural as wider than dramatics. Based on height (172cm) I really just considered the last three though I don’t think I look great with such wild hair or loose clothes. I do look better with longer waste-line. And recently when I accepted I must be flamboyant natural who didn’t like her lines and wasn’t a pear shaped when overweight, I heard the soft natural description and thought that it’s probably it. But as you can see I’ve been pretty much on all bodies on the classic to dramatic end of the spectrum. If there is anything you can suggest to help I would be forever grateful. I identify myself as FN after a looong study about Aly’s videos and other youtubers. Let me tell you some tips: i think Dramatic is pretty esasy to identify. Even if FN are actually taller than dramatics, you usually perceive them tallers, and is because they’re more sharp, dry and the angles in the face features and body are very noticeable. I think the type that more confuses with FN it’s SD, specially when you try to do it with somebody over their weight, even though with examples as Sofia Vergara and Sophia Loren you start to seethe differences. I think specially with facial features, SD has very open mouth and eyes, and off course in body they have more flesh covering their bones, but in a way that their differences between bust, waist and hips are very noticeable, and thats the greaaat difference with FN. Sometimes people use to refuse to identify as FN bc everybody always talk about the top models that, for sure, are FN, but it’s not difficult to fit in this category. Actually I think is more common that people think, just remember we the normal people dont have all the time and money to look like them 😬. But hey we can. How I figured out... well, even if Im a little overweight, people usually dont see that as my main characteristic, always perceive that Im very tall (and actually im 175), but my arms and legs look very very long and that contributes to that pereception, however my muscles around arms and legs are very noticeable, and then the face, I have very thin lips and blunt edges. So yeah,maybe I dont have the 180cm but I know I pm not so curvy as a SD

@@athinamariaverivakiscorone1789 thank you so much for your reply. It made me realise that when slightly overweight people also don’t notice that on me, actually I’ve had reaction of a surprise when I mentioned my size as apparently was expected to be able to fit a smaller size. Also I’ve had similar surprised reactions to my bra size though here people are usually excepting much smaller cup so I suppose I am not curve dominant despite the actual size. I am an hourglass though not prominent, my lips are medium on a fullness scale and have prominent cheekbones and jaw which look quite sharp when I’m thin but make my face look large when overweight. Limbs I think are quite proportional but my hands and feet are apparently quite small for my height and definitely wide, chubby looking even when I’m really thin. Right now, being on a very heavy side of the scale, I look quite squarish and stalky I’d say, and as in writing this I’m thinking I must be one of the naturals but I lean far more to elegant classic style and definitely look disheveled with a mane for a hair (which used to be pretty straight but a few years ago changed texture to curly/wavy). Thank you again for your reply, writing back is actually a helpful in realising things I hadn’t considered before. Take care

@@nununoona8969 thank you so much for saying that. I almost feel that when I’ve got it I discover or remember something that would exclude me from the type. But also simply am not sure on what differentiates SN and FN. is it the hair? If so that would make me a SN, but then again that feels close to SD which i almost feel is more elegant and that’s where I’d lean to when I’m thinking of looking presentable. Also it’s so difficult to tell what vibe I give off. I don’t think of myself as Diva but also relaxed clothes makes me feel like I’m having a pyjamas day. Funnily enough I can see clearly some of the types in my friends or colleagues and yet am clueless when it comes to myself. Perhaps they are more textbook examples... I’m not sure how much the styles that are stereotypical for a certain body matter and that almost adds to my confusion also as the natural/bohemian vibe isn’t something I’d feel good/elegant/elevated in anywhere but on holiday. This might be just another factor that skews my objectivity. Well I shall carry on studying everything that is available and perhaps one day I will have a lightbulb moment.

Great Video! I wonder, why Heidi Klum is always typed as a SN. She is very tall, 176 cm and also looks FN, i think. Such cases are confusing 😅.

I am not so wide, only on the rib cage and shoulders. I am elongated, thin and muscular, but I am not so tall as FN are usually portrayed, I am 5'7". do you think I could be a FN? It's the one I most relate to.

12:37 Naturals range from 5'4" to a half-inch above 5'8", whereas "flamboyant Naturals" rarely fall short of 5'7" and can easily reach (or even exceed) 6'.
@daniellevinson69752 жыл бұрын
That reminds me: you forgot to mention that standard Dramatics tend to be a bit shorter than "flamboyant Naturals"; the former often fall short of 5'10, whereas the latter gravitate towards 5'10" and 5'11".

5:27 Did you accidentally switch the labels for Jessica Biel and Anne Hathaway? I thought JB would be more FN and AH would be SD? Thanks for another great video!
@Krisvasileva-w7z3 жыл бұрын
Good question... I think Anne is maybe Natural but not statuesque enough to be FN. As to Jessica, she's quite Dramatic but looks on the wider side so I thought FN for her.

I’m as confused as ever 😢 your video is great! I just don’t seem to fit in any type. I though I fit FN except that I’m 5’3” and can’t say I have the elongated look (although people tend to think I’m taller than I am). I have a very short torso and angular, sharp facial features. I’d say I’m frame dominant and very broad. I really would like to be able to dress for my type but I’m about to give up on the Kibbe system bc it’s confusing me and getting frustrating.

I'm really not sure where I fall! I am 5'8" with a muscular lower body-- somewhat broad bones, but a tiny waist and no bust. My shoulders are somewhat broad and blunt and balanced with my hips. My face is long, thin, and my jawline is long, narrow and rounded, not blunt, my nose is prominent and long, lips are thinner, and eyes are almond shaped and smaller. I feel like I'm a mix of D and FN maybe?

Me too I thought I was a dramatic classic but again i tried again, we’re similar and I think if you try something that is for dramatics or classic you can pull it off.

My shoulders are slightly wider than my hips, yep they are the widest part oh my body. But I have narrow rib cage under boobs I have 26,34 inches and my waist is 24,80 inches hips are 36,2 inches. I have medium sized bust 30DD. I'm confused. I don't look wide but yeah the widest part is the shoulders part. Can you help me?

Try observing ur bone structure and proportions. If ur a natural, then u would have wide shoulders, rib cage, big hands and feet, moderately long legs and arms, widely spaced eyes, wide cheekbones with flat and taut cheeks, wide nose with thin lips. If ur a SOFT natural, then u would still have a squarish figure with some flesh and also maybe full lips and cheeks. If ur a romantic, then u might have a lush hourglass figure. Ur bone structure will be delicate and small but slightly wide. Facial features : big round eyes, softly wide nose, full lips, round cheekbones and flesh. U only have to fit the most features not necessarily all. Hope this helps.

@um48833 жыл бұрын
@@Iden_Elihio_1999 yes ik not all naturals have wide set eyes and wide shoulders that's why I mentioned that u don't necessarily have to have all the features. If ur not sure just take a photo of yourself and observe ur propotions and bone structure . Ignore ur actual height and try to tell how tall u look. Do u look wide blunt and muscular or delicate lush and round. Observe ur body shape, if u have a rectangle figure with some flesh or just an hour glass.

Popular vote has me as FN, but I've always felt I look bulky and weird in big shapeless garments. I've been thinking SD for a while, but starting to wonder if it's possible I'm just a fat Dramatic? A few of them have curves too - look at Jamie Lee Curtis after she stopped starving herself?

I don't know if I'm flamboyant natural or natural.. I am 1.65 cm with long legs and arms and long fingers, big broad shoulders. I have almost a straight waist.. I seem about 5cm taller than I am. If I gain weight I tend to have a thicker midsection and rounder face.. Characteristics of natural and flamboyant natural both seem relevant to me 🤔

I was leaning towards FN previously now, I have no idea. Lol Im 5'9" slightly wider shoulders than hips, defined waist but nothing like Marilyn or Selma Hayek. I have long legs but i think my torso is proportionately quite long from waist to hip. Waist to rib is close. Ribs are wider, proportionately. I build muscle very easily but i look soft, even when very thin. Breasts are also proportionately larger than average regardless of my weight. Wider hands. Feet are average width. Any thoughts, anyone??

Enjoying seeing other people trying to figure out their types in the comments. I'm stuck. Took a test it said I was flamboyant natural. It kind of fits however I am extremely short (under 5ft). I have very broad shoulders and muscular body in general, however I am overweight so I also have curves. My torso is way long and my legs are short. I also have a very masculine, FN type face but it is rounder because I am overweight. What am I? Natural? Soft Natural? Or just a very weird short and fat FN?
@maycoleman73482 жыл бұрын
I thought this whole time I was a soft natural. I’m 5’7 but I think I look more elongated I have long arms and legs and big hands and feet. I’m starting to think this is actually my type. And I’m definitely frame dominant when looking at Jennifer Lawrence next to Amy shumer and I think I might be more elongated than any ! I also discover other soft naturals like Chrissy teagan and Scarlett johanson

I can't decide if I'm FN or DC. According to the test I am DC, but I think I am not that symmetrical... There is quite a difference in style (wardrobe and hair) between these two, and I am still not sure which is more appropriate for me. Anybody has any advice?

I'm sad I'm a dramatic classic. I don't feel comfortable in those angular lines. I'm very free spirited and want to express that in my clothing but apparently it won't fit me. Also being a spring color season I really have difficulty to looking modern and stylish as there are up to no colors for the spring type on the market. Especially not in the cold seasons and never for clothes that are classic in any way. Came here hoping to be fn, but being only 1,72m I cry.

Your hight is not an indication of your ID, you should look into other features of your body structure, and if most of them matches FN then you'll be FN.

i'm a light spring so i feel you about the difficulty of matching our colors with our preferred styles! your palette looks right on you, though, so wear complimentary colors (your red with your green, slate blue with burnt orange, etc) or mix the lightest and darkest of your colors, and it will still have that contrast a bright winter would have mixing her colors. soft autumn colors are all soft, too, but you have a lot of pretty light colors and can go pretty dark, so take advantage of that! my mom is also a soft autumn and has had great luck finding kaftans and boho clothes in her colors--the fashion world often likes making natural clothes in autumn colors, so have fun with it and good luck!
