Vote goes to fire. My Flamecaller deck has one of each fire magic projectile/damage (1 meteor shower, 1 major/minor explosion, 1 cone of flame, 1 heat ray, etc) just because I like casting fire spells in general. However the real strategy starts with 3x of each cornerstone, wayfaring pilgrim, lava salamanders, and 4x mad dashes for card draw and positional/directional casting and pure aggression realm building. Backed up with 4x sacred scarabs, 4x vile imps, 3x blaze, 2x infernal legions, 2x scorched earths, and death dealer with of course the ruby core and 2x mixes (so I have a chance at casting the meteor shower during endgame). It's growing on me as one of, if not my favorite deck currently. Send everything in, blow everything up including my own creatures, leeroooooooy jeeeeeenkins style! All to turn flamecaller into a one-trick red button! Very straightforward and bombastic!

Only thing i have to say so far is that out of the 4 starter decks it seems that the spark mage does not have any direct way to deal with the one hydra card in the waveshaper deck that is immune to non-letal damage as only way they can deal 6 more more damage at once is with his own ability which it very hard to do that late in the game when you don't have a ton of cards in hand. Other than that love the art, love the game play style and i hope to see a great deal of success. My LGS signs up last night to do events on your website so i hope they get approved :D

1. I wish there was a better explanation on submerge. Do I have to use one movement to submerge? Can my submerged unit attack something on the land next to it? Ex: River Kelpie is submerged on my water site. I want to attack a unit on a land site next to it. Do I have to un-submerge it in the same site, then attack next turn? Can I move it above ground and onto the land to attack in one turn? 2. Would basilisk ability affect something with stealth? Is it like magic where it doesn't target, so it works? Or does it target.

Loved watching the game. That was so much fun. My only thought would of been...I wish you would of explained the very last card played. The one that ended the game. Nothing was explained. You flashed it for a sec and then...the game was over. Everything else throughout the was explained in detail which was very helpful.

With Ice lance, the caster shot a projectile that deals 3 damage to a unit at first location, 2 damage and 1 damage at one unit in the second and third location. So the flamecaller take one damage and then chase lose the game

Hey guys, just started playing the game and I’m loving it so far, I just have a question. At 6:37 Chase played a red desert that would deal 1 damage to units atop sites nearby, and then proceeded to move his pit vipers. My question is, wouldn’t the red desert genesis deal 1 damage to the pit vipers destroying them as they are not burrowed?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, at 13:33, isn't the desert under Chase's avatar too far to do the 1 damage to the Kelpie as it is not nearby?

Great question, we’re happy to clarify! ‘Nearby’ refers to the card’s own square, and all squares that surround it, including those diagonally. There’s a fine balance - you need to be able to deal damage to the sites with minions to get them to death’s door!

The skill level looks fairly low on this game given there is no interaction. The I go you go turns put a lot of focus on how lucky your draws get even more so than a interactive TCG. The new star wars game also has the same issue.
