I play too. They keep banning my vids saying copyright claim on tic toc. This is impossible I am improvising on the spot. Nobody can claim copyright on a chord or scale. Any idea how they can ban my original music claiming copyright?? I am making stuff up as I go along. They then say "sound removed not allowed.". We live in a cancel culture nightmare in where people try to get you banned as a hobby. I am just dumbfounded my own songs I made up as I recorded them just messing around were deleted on a copyright. This cannot be possible. Nice video.

Hey Maestro, if I can tell you something : I think when you make pause at 3:01, its the PERFECT camera position for us, 50% transparancy for left hand, and 50% transparancy for the right hand, with those two angles, it makes a perfect view for studying !! Please do that for all your next lesson videos ! :D Thank you again Master !

Great advice! Thanks. In fact, a dual-camera view turned out to be a solution in the end..! Cheers

one of the most difficult and time-consuming techniques of all. There are so damn many things or rather techniques that only one hand has to do that it takes years to create the perfect Alzapua! Coordination of the exact angular extension, complete relaxation of the wrist, the necessary attack, the individually perfect fingernail length and shape, the speed and, last but not least, most importantly - the absolute feeling and passion in your head and heart for flamenco in general in order to implement the Alzapua. ..without all that, it will always just be "strumming" and sound the same!

A good start to alzapua is probably the opening to the piece "Almoraima" by Paco De Lucia. But the REST of the piece is quite challenging, and I wouldn't expect to be able to play that until you've had at least a few years of playing easier flamenco pieces under your belt.

And the Arabs took the alzapua from the Ancient Greeks, as these had guitars, already.
@SpanishGuitarSchool6 жыл бұрын
Not exactly, the Eastern Byzantine Empire under Ottoman attacks, with ancient Greek's legacy, was developing in each area of the Mediterranean on it's own terms, and in it's own time. Better put - Eastern Mediterranean, apart from being the cradle of culture, is a cradle of advanced pick/bone/thumb techniques as well, up to 822 AD. Then the Alzpua heritage passes to the west, (with Zyriab, musician and poet), and then the Iberian peninsula becomes the epicenter of all technical development of the picked string instruments, all from the 9th century until today...
