Flames at 2 Alarm Blaze Burning 3 Businesses in Rego Park - QUEENS

November 30, 2024 QUEENS, New York - Reportedly Police and emergency response units responded to multiple 911 calls for a possible explosion in the area near 6216 Woodhaven Blvd where upon arrival firefighters encountered a heavy blaze that extended to multiple buildings.
Operations quickly escalated to a 2 alarm response from FDNY as the intense fire affected multiple businesses before being brought under control. Incident reported at around 11am in Rego Park, Queens. Injuries not known and cause of fire is under investigation.
