*FLAMES* How to make your 125 spit flames (exhaust test)

Go in 3rd gear to the limiter, turn your bike off. Hold the clutch in, keep the throttle open and after 3-4 seconds starts the bike while you're still moving and you'll shoot about 3 feet of flames from the exhaust. Not good for your bike, but it's cool to see

As far as i have tested you should only keep the throttle about 30% open if you do any more it usually wont work, the bike just kinda dies and continues as normal. Still backfires like crazy

If you do it at somewhat high RPM it will destroy the electric starter. It is not meant for high RPM. Prob the best way to shoot flames, is to run rich and remake the exhaust.

My 06 CBR 125 shot flames from the stock exhaust when i shut it off at >5k rpm and gave it about 1/4th throttle and turned it back on after about a second. If you hold the throttle open for too long or too much there won't be enough air for the fuel to burn in your exhaust. My bike had 50k kilometers on it and had no problems though i'm sure doing this a lot will bring them, so be cautious.

HawkZ my bad. I own a WR125 myself and I once tried the trick with full throttle when starting and no kidding my engine service light started blinking and it gave me the code for the speed sensor malfuctioning, as soon as i started driving it went away and never showed again :D

HawkZ yea it isn't. Did you know that the flashing engine light gives a signal that tells you the diagnostic? The long ones mean the first number and the short ones the second. For example if the engine light lights up 4 times long and 2 times short it means 42. You can find the coresponding codes and messages from the internet.

I think if you get a 180cc kit you can get 100mph out of them but it’s a lot of work when you can just get an a2 bike a year or two later!

Paul Belevicius I wouldn’t recommend going straight to a 1000cc because that’s another level of bike and I assume you don’t have too much experience? But maximum I would say is go for a 650 or 600 after a 125 jusy to break it in more I know a bike jusy seems the same for any type of cc but going from 125 to a 1000 is huge!

Can do this in neutral on my 2016 yzf r125, full revs roll off then back on and it spits flames with full decat lextek cp1 exhaust and only seems to do it on super unleaded
