Awesome, but how does it work? I know flamethrowers have a pre-lit flame and carry the fire by shooting a flammable substance out another nozzle, but what is that substance here? Dextrine?

It really doesent matter what you shoot out of a flamethrower 90% of the time as long as it lights on fire and doesent clog the tubing. Diesel, gasoline, napalm, ethanol, lighter fluid all work for example.

Cool but it only shoots a few feet? Flash paper launchers, hairspray or even lighter fluid bottles will do that. Lot of work for small results imo

Use a better tank and you can pressurize it more Edit: he cut and re-welded the tank it looks like so he can’t pressurize it too much or it will break at the weld

pretty weak tbh. you shouldve tweaked the design so the fuel comes out pressurized so u get more than 5 feet of range. this configuration is good enough to clear ice but thats about it. nice craftsmanship but there are homemade flamethrowers that can blast like 40-50 feet and take the same, actually not less, work to construct
