FLAMING MR2 VS BMW M4 Trackday Battle at Cadwell Park

First shakedown session in the Volvo T5 Powered MR2 on track. Was a great evening session with Javelin Trackdays. I learnt lots about the new setup and had a lot of fun and met some great people. Roll on the next one. Thanks Lewis Claxton for the Footage 👍

The straights its untouchable but the brakes need to be better. I can pull 5 car length only to loose it on the brakes 😂

@@Alanwmrt I'll get it sorted, was litrally on the lowest boost setting the whole lap apart from the start finish straight. The brakes just couldnt cope with any more. Also I need to learn the car. The day was wet apart from the last 45 mins, didnt learn anything in the wet.

Have been around the nurburgring in an M4. Very fast andcapable car. To see an MR2 pull away on the straight like that is crazy

@@carbongecko I had a gopro disaster that day. I got zero incar footage and was soo annoyed. The gopro would film about 20 seconds then just shut down. Apparantly gopro 7s are common to overheat and turn off 🤷‍♂️

Oulton park and Cadwell park are my favourite UK tracks in Assetto Corsa even though NOT the most famous in general. Bilster Berg, Bikernieki and Nemuno Ziedas (old version) have similar vibes.

That is one savage engine swap. Wish we were allowed to do this kind of stuff in Belgium. You guys can have all the fun with legal MOT. 🤪👌 Wish I could have something similar for my trips to tye Nürburgring. T5 in a lighter chassis and convertable. 😍

Like 0.7 bar with a quick power squirt down the back straight. Brakes couldnt cope with any more. Full boost is 2.3 bar 😂😂😂
