Joseph Altamirano there's pro mod door slammers that run these 1/4 times on methanol. These cars in this vid aren't really competition cars but rather show cars tuned to get the times you see here. "Grudge Match" and similar show races like this have been around for decades. In the early seventies I saw Shirley Muldowney In a dragster race Shirl Greer in his funny car at a local track in Phenix City, Alabama in a grudge match. It was strictly show and they ran a full second slower than their competition cars. It was a way for them to make extra money and they were huge draws.
