Monette Digma Go to: talktomeinkorean.com You can download the pdf's for the lessons or you can go to their online store that is also on the website and order the books from there. I believe you can order all of their books for about $300.00 or purchase them one or a few at a time. Hope this helped!

Is 12 a little to young to study Korean? Cause tomorrow I'm gonna order a five-star hard cover notebook and take notes, then, on my birthday may 27th I'm gonna order the TTMIK level 1 book. And some stationary things and color-code things in the book that are important and write them in my notebook.. Is that too much?

Just halfway through the video and wanted to comment on your switching back and forth between formal and informal Korean.. I totally have that problem with Japanese which I have studied a lot. It's embarrassing. I would totally suggest just speaking informal Korean in all situations except where formal is expected. Ideally you want informal Korean to be your comfortable, relaxed way of speaking Korean. Not formal. Since foreigners learn formal or polite conjugations first, I think we tend to fall back on it a lot without thinking and it's a dead giveaway that you learned Korean in a classroom and not naturally. Anyway, hopefully that won't be too much of an issue with you. I kept speaking formal Japanese to people I lived with in Japan and they never ever spoke formal Japanese to me in return because it wasn't the right situation for it. So that was embarrassing. (I'm a beginner at Korean so I stumbled on your vlog)

Honestly, I don't think your korean is intermediate as of now. The Intermediate course at our school used the Sogang 3A-4B books and I think it is a good equivalent to the Topik Intermediate level (3-4). But I , by no means, want to tell you that can't make it up to that level! If I am allowed to give you some advice, try to practise how to connect two sentences. It will sound much more natural that way. Also, try to learn as much new words as you can (not only Sogang vocab) and try to use only Korean when you are with your Korean friends. Keep studying :) fighting!
@FlamingMVkeys7 жыл бұрын
Oh, I'm sorry if you thought I was implying that my level of Korean is intermediate! That's merely the name of the course I am taking. It's called "Intermediate Korean Language A" at my university. So I was stating the name of my class only, not my level. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding there! I know I'm not intermediate. I would say I'm beginner transitioning into intermediate at the moment. ^^
