I can scarcely believe it... This pedal sounds amazing... so it must be $300, right? Nope. $200? Nope. It's a hundred bucks. If this isn't the best deal on a pedal that sounds this good, I don't know what is. Thanks for the demo, Brett.
@LeviBulger3 жыл бұрын
I bought one on Amazon day for 65 bucks. Now I know why it's cheap. It has a white noise hiss that is impossible to get rid of, for starters. And it absolutely cannot handle fuzz pedals into it. Even the Rat, which usually never has problems getting along with pedals overwhelmed it. Also, it really doesn't sound quite as good as my Boss RV-6.
@PJmusica2 жыл бұрын
@@LeviBulger it's probably my favorite pedal on my board, especially for the money. I love my boss rv6 which is a better reverb unit but it's not a better reverb and delay unit in one. It's a little muddy when compared to a Straymon El Capistan but overall the ekoverb sounds pretty damn good 👍 I love the features on it, like it's tap tempo and freeze etc. nice addition to my arsenal for ambient and experimental music.
@kelasbebas8742 Жыл бұрын
There're not so many pedals on my board (no mod type pedal, except envelope pedal). For reverb section, i use solely this pedal. Sounds good, looks good, delay+reverb in a box just made my board simpler. And as you said, it's just $ 100. PERFECT

Hey brother...I think the circuit of ekoverb is digital...how does a pedal like this handle the poly d?
@TheScreamingFrog916 Жыл бұрын
@@GioMilko yes that is correct, it is definitely digital. I have had no problems using it on anything, including the PolyD. I think it’s a great value for two good effects in one box. Simple knob per function, and takes up less space, on a crowded desktop. One thing to keep in mind, is that the delay and reverb run in parallel with each other, not one into the other.

Bought one recently. It really does require a full 300mA @ 9Vdc or will refuse to ''boot-up'. As our Aussie friend says, I can only echo his conclusion that it is a very clever modern pedal. Seems to be a chinese company that is turning out a genuinely original product instead of boot-legging some poor teams' hard-won R&D. Which if true makes for a +/ve step forward. And for the moaning ninnies winging on about "no true-bypass". Well, it has a hard-relay inside. This we can hear switch-over at ON/OFF. It may well be a bypass relay (I'm not opening it up ); which would if wired thusly, facilitate hard-(or TRUE) bypass. It's a PCB-mounted relay. A very prudent design idea used in the best equipment, and always indicates to me, quality in design.
@thestuffmikedoes23094 жыл бұрын
This pedal introduces a TON of noise to my signal. By itself, and with other pedals, when it’s on or when it’s bypassed. It’s not 60 cycle hum, it’s like a TV white noise hiss. I was really looking forward to using it but it’s going back. Would have been a great value, otherwise
@thestuffmikedoes23093 жыл бұрын
@@Paul_Lenard_Ewing I do believe it was a bad unit; as an update, when I contacted Flamma to initiate a return, they asked me to 1) first try a different power supply and if it didn't help, 2) send a video. I did both, illustrating the problem I was having. I compared it to other pedals and pointed out the distinctly different noise it was producing, and they told me that they showed it to their engineers, and the engineers said it was fine. I didn't really believe that, I felt like they were just trying to prevent the return, and I insisted on returning it. Crickets. I had to email them three more times over the next 5 days to get an address to send the item back to. Pretty strange experience. Unfortunate, as I really wanted the pedal.

@@thestuffmikedoes2309 I’ve read and experienced that these pedals work best (and almost solely) with its own individual power supply. Not a power block. Not even a power block with individual and separated powers. The power supply to the pedal has to be its own, dedicated power. If you look on Amazon, they now sell two different deals with this pedal. One is just the pedal and the other is the pedal with a power supply. They’re both the same price so get the one with the power supply and you should be ready to go.

I bought the FS22 Ekoverb FLAMMA Delay / Reverb pedal. Mmh. For about 100 EUR I'd say it is good, in good built quality. What makes it very annoying to use is that when you power up your board you need to physically unplug, then re-plug the Flamma, or else it does not work. I contacted support, and got a quick answer saying this is the desired behavior. Seriously? You think I will kneel down every time when I power up my board and re-plug all Flamma pedals? Imagine all your pedals require this... (Spoiler: none does). At the moment it sits on a shelf.
