One other thing about Mysore that's worth mentioning flamu; she has improved shell alpha over Leander and 66% firepower at the front, meaning she can bow tank all cruisers except GS and still pump out an impressive amount of damage, meaning you can out-trade in many circumstances. Honestly, she's criminally underrated and even has semi-functional AA.

I have rank out on Hatsaharu , I had few battles on her when whole week when I 4 times reset Harugumo , and for some reason Hatsuharu worked well ... maybe because I have 21p commander on her & shitload experience with regrinds...

Its the argument that all surface ships that have ship deployed ASW are are a significant disadvantage than airstike ASWs since they MUST engage the SS from point blank range. Not only does this put the ship at risk of putting themselves into a crossfire by other surface ships, subs can more easily pull off a shotgun if a ship is forced to close the distance. Cruisers are not destroyers; they have citadels, they don't have the same agility, and they are not a stealthy. Its just WG creating problems and selling solutions to us. And that's what's infuriating.

@@KapteeniKetza exactly, the previous commenter didn't understand my point and wrote a whole book about how ship based asw is useless, which is correct 💯, but still Nurnberg is by far a better ship thanks to all advantages you mentioned. I even proc Lutjens reload boost on Nurnberg and Konigsberg

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes Repulse's projectiles end up in totally unrelated places (although sometimes rng saves some damn stupid players...); Anyway, I think it's a great ship for bronze ranked

1:56 Pensacola only struggles against BB with 380mm or bigger guns, citadel everywhere (overmatch plating and citadel deck), otherwise it tank quite well for a cruiser. Also don't forget... very accurate low volume lobbing secondaries for memes.

@@whattheflyingduck6878 It is great at least based on my available ship. It has every tools for winning. The main weakness is the damage output when facing bow on opponent. When the oponent ia broadside to you, 3 penetration yield to around 3-6k depends on the saturation. Plus it can citadel ships such as Izmail at around 10 km distance. Good if you can position yourself so you get enemy broadside.

When you do tier lists like this, it would be nice if there were a link to the final tier list in the description so we can open it and look at it. It is displayed at the end, but it's inconvenient since it doesn't even fit in frame so we have to scrub back and forth if we want to browse it.

Just came back to the game after a few weeks away. Decided to try Ranked. Played Pensacola, Arizona, Dido and Farragut. All four were wins. Pensacola in particular is criminally underrated. Those 10 203s can smash almost anything.

Funny that P.E.F ended up in C Tier in a ranked Tierlist. People always forget about it's absolutly murderous secondaries. 8.5km range, good reload and dispersion while having 105mm and 150mm. (Mackensen gets 88mm which can't pen anything.)

Izmail is such a strong ship, her guns punch really hard, bad reload so you have to be mindful of when to take your shots. Great turret angles also

@@franz265 no it doesnt Facing a t61 just goes the same as any other german hydro dd: you know he is in the game so appraoch a cap accordingly in expectance to stay out of his hydro range or get out of it quickly enough. Then you wait until hydro and smoke run out and then you try to engage him at your terms. T61 cant compete with Avieres gun power and specially the SAP alpha dmg is super nasty, you basically just need three good salvos to kill any other t6 dd ( I two-shotted IJN dds) , if they are not bow in. Also Avieres profile sits very, very low in the water , while being fast (39.5 with signal and without the speed boost) with an excellent ruddershift (all of those aspects better then the t61), which makes it hard-er to hit consistantly in a knife fight. But to sum it up and since you wrote it outplays the Aviere in EVERY aspect: Aviere is faster, more agile with better ruddershift, has better guns, faster reloading torps, which also have a decent range for the tier (10km) and a better concealment (allthough really slow, but that can be an advantage - Black players know what i mean) and if u timed it well enough you can smoke up while he stays spotted by a team mate. T61 is the king of cap contesters at the tier and to play against a good player, who knows the limitations of his ship, can be a pain in the ass, but then you just reposition and pick a different target for the time being. But I'd reckon it is more a ship designed for ..hum...lazy players. And as so many other ships designed for wargamings slightly dented whales, it becomes super potent when played by a player, who is NOT a dented whale, but it has weaknesses and you can counter it, if you know how. Aviere needs hands and map awarness or you will indeed fail miserably, but its a bit like other high risk-high reward ships in the game - if you have the skill and digg the playstyle, it is very rewarding. Overall-i would accept a one vs one against a t61 in an Aviere any time. Not that i am certain to win every single time, but i'd like my chances. oh and i nearly forgot one quite important aspect in the ranked environment, which is fairly unique for the Aviere on this tier: You do have the potential to finish of damaged BBs (important distinction-your torps are too weak for the majority of full hp t6 bbs) by a smoke-yolo run in open water (no islands needed), which can be an extremely usefull tool to have in your locker in ranked and as far as i know, the Aviere is the only dd on the tier able to do so.

W Virginia with 406 guns should be S tier. Just take a look at WoWs stats for top damage at tier 6. I get citadels all the time in ranked especially at range where the shells just easily plunge through the deck of enemy BBs. The BB is a monster if played well.

Yeah, when playing this ship I often citadel fuso from like 18+km lol (with spotter + range module). Also Mutsu is S tier, while Canarias in A or B IMO

Mackensen has also, which has to be remembered, Hydro. I think, it is the only Tier 6 BB with it. It's AA does however suck... so if one of those carriers are in the game...

Graf fought 2 Leander class @ battle of river plate (Ajax and Achillies), Exeter is Tier 5 in WOWs. Perth is modified Leander-Class. Good list Flamu! Cheers!

Just came back to this because tier 6 is bronze ranked again. I rolled through the league in a day thanks to my Perth with an occasional brain break in my Repulse. Nice to see that my best ships are listed here as S tier.

Don't sleep on torpedo DDs! Low tier small scale ranked means lots of brawling BBs and the games usually last about 10mins. And you still can't rely on your mates so it's good to burst down enemies yourself. Might not be easy but I have had massive success with Jianwei in ranked and will try my best in Fushun. Guepard played well is just terrifying tho.

The thing is in those kind of chaotic close range brawls... anything with torpedoes is just as good. Farragut (or Nicholas in T5 last season even moreso) can get off close-range torpedo ambushes while also having excellent gun DPM. In comparison a 'pure torpedo' DD like the TT IJN DDs can be bullied away from those kind of opportunities due to having bad guns, and have to rely almost solely on stealth-torping to contribute.

@@nlb137 Maybe it just suits my playstyle but I usually find a lot of value in controlling the engagement. I use my guns to trade smartly pretty often. Fubuki is terrible as it lacks concealment but Hatsu is pretty strong imo. I'm currently grinding Yugumo and I love it, I rarely lose DD fights. But I don't disagree with you.

Shinonome is legit t6 kamikaze! Yes yes 20second longer reload, but u got 8lm range and 9 torps, compared to 7km and 6 torps P.S. DIDO is shit, but it shits real hard on DDs, other than that is ur standard camping behind islands CL

It makes me sad that Leander keeps getting beaten with the Nerf Hammer, but a ship not to be underestimated. Still one of my absolute favourite ships. In the T6 CB, we had a Leander and Perth combo that just traded smokes and Hydros for the entire game, spamming the crap out of anything that was dumb enough to be in range. Made for a vicious combo because played right, they never got spotted but dealt tons of damage.

Not sure why Graf is S tier tbh... I get that it has a heal, is tanky for its tier, with good yolo torps, and big guns; but good luck hitting anything with those guns, the torps are exposed and easy to knock out, the DPM is horrific, the armour on her extremities is bad, and good luck dealing with any type of DD due to being very slow for a cruiser, the over pen mechanic on 283s, and her anaemic HE. The big problem is you need time to be effective; IMO she is great if the game goes long.

I wish there was no over-pens. I just wish instead of an over-pen it would act as a reduced damage of an HE shell like 1/4th the damage. Bc like for dd's going against a cruiser or BB is ludicrous. I mean i get it, a dd should not be equally matched against a cruiser or BB but come on, constant over-pens is just ridiculous

Why put Shinonome on A and Fubuki on C tier? Shinonome has slightly worse concealment and rudder shift, inferior shooting range, inferior gun reload and worse gun traverse, all for one more gun turret and "better torpedoes". And by "better torpedoes", I mean torpedoes that deal 10% less damage, have 2km less range, and 0.1km worse detectability range, all in trade of a reload 3 seconds better and 4 knots faster speed. FOUR knots. With the worse detectability, Fubuki and Shinonome have both the same reaction time on their torps... I'd take Fubuki torpedoes over these any time. As for the guns, while 50% more guns is nice, especially since the additional turret is on the back (nice for kiting), the reload and traverse make them unconfortable to use (when turning your ship, you easily lose target because your guns are lagging behind). They have the worst traverse of the tier, and their range and vertical dispersion are second worst, only beaten by Aviere. All for a HE dpm that is "only" 33% better than Fubuki, and average for DDs this tier. So a slightly worse hull equipped with slightly worse torpedoes, for a better main battery but that is significantly less comfortable to use (I mean, they're effective, but a pain to use). "A tier". I have a good number of battles in both ship, and Hatsuharu as well, with good results with all three. Shinonome to me is the worst of the three. Flamu, the game has changed since you started playing. Shinonome isn't what it used to be.

I find it quite curious that Flamu put two sister DD pairs two tiers apart. Fubuki has worse gun dpm than Shinonome, but better concealment, faster rudder, as well as stronger torpedoes with better range and identical reaction time. Then there is Farragut and Monaghan (use historical hull, of course, not WG's made up 2 gun shit). Monaghan has one gun less and standard smoke, as well as slightly slower rudder, but she has more health, better concealment and torpedo reload booster. Putting Fubuki and Monaghan one tier lower than their sisters I can understand, but I think that neither warrants a two tier gap. Other than that, I would agree with the list in so far as that I would not put any ship more than one tier lower or higher than Flamu did, mostly down to personal experience and familiarity with the ships.

I don’t get why he’s putting the izmail so high, it has a citadel easier to hit than the Omaha. I love seeing izmail on an enemy team because it means quick damage and easy kill.

Arizona being trash tier is a joke. 12 accurate guns that slap. Yeah the reload is slow but it deletes ships off the map.

Agree, although I prefer West Virginia more due to best AP pen in Tier+406mm caliber. This is the only battleship in the game which can often citadel bbs from 18+km (range module+spotter). If you meet fuso - it's a prey, since even if it shows you broadside at max range - West Virginia very often citadels it

Love Aigle. Definitely strong. It's great for torp runs on BBs. Weaknesses are low shell velocity, poor firing arcs, and 6.8 detection range. Imma middling player but have a 65% w/r with it over 104 battles.

after 10 minutes, I see T-61 & Admiral Graf Spee at S-tier, Bayern "only" on A-tier, pretty easy deserved like Flolo 🤪👍 ( but when a Bayern meets Izmail ( also A-tier ) the outcome of the engagement in these small maps engagements where brawling is not death, pretty predictable - 1 ship with owermatch, secondaries and turtleback, against a BB that is easy citadelable... yes, I am puting big questionmark about Izmail A-tier 🙄 )

Looks alright except Fuso at A tier. I played her again after like 2-3 years and i was very much surprised how abysmal the dispersion is. I had multiple perfectly aimed broadside shots below 10kms where all 12 guns missed… bleh…. I would rate lets say a warspite much higher than the fuso.

Ships play some part in the gameplay but the players are more critical.. Pushed to R1 in Bronze using Bbs, constantly with the Galaxy best MM AI with 800-900xp players in my team. I m an avg 1800xp random player. Ranks MM sux even worst than Randoms

Sorry but ... Monaghan is awesome !! Who needs guns when you have 70 knots torps that can OS any ship and a fast reload on top of that ? I made my way out of bronze easy just playing her. DD, CA BB ONESHOT !! This DD is a tutorial for Torp delivered directly on the deck. Actually you can play her in 2 configurations. Slow, long range torps (9.5km) or super fast torps short range. But for Rank First configuration is optimal. No one can dodge these torps, even other DDs !! Once fired someone has to die !

aviere is godtier in ranked because you push an enemy DD you trash him (aigle guepard and gallant included) because you have SAP then you are dark because your range is so dogshit. also other DDs usually don't have a brain and fire at you if they outspot you which basically spot them for you and if you have decent awareness your gun will be already pointed at them. the torps are decent at dealing with BBs which you always outrun there is almost no cruiser in ranked and when there is they get blown up in 1 salvo by a BB so they are not a threat to you if you have hands and balls of steel you basically solo win 80% of the games with no carrier it's also good because it's play styles kinda fit ranked where you want to clear 2 caps which create pressure, you do that by either being a z61 and being in smoke+hydro on the cap or by kicking the enemy DDs in the mouth for a potato it is F tier but for a 52%WR player like me it's S or arguably a high A

hehe, when you just zipped through bronze with 80% winrate despite so many t61s and cvs in a ship, that Flolo doesnt deem worthy ^^ the Aviere needs a bit of hands, but it simply dumpsters every other t6 dd in one vs one (except other Avieres, which is allways a funny "how dare you pick MY ship, sir" moment) . The smoke CAN be an issue, but again - you need hands and map awarness for this ship. It kinda baffles me, that Folo dislikes these ships so much, since they offer something unique and at least the t5 to t7 are really, really good at it. And regarding the Aigle being in A tier: The bad concealment is a real issue since you cant really spot enemy dds for urself and - which i dislike the most - it has suuuuper floaty, light shells,whith the worst dragg in the game (at least the worst of any ship i ever played including Atlanta) where you have to zoom out specially when you are in a close range gun fight with an enemy dd.

Monaghan have another optio. 4 guns from Farragut with same torps as Farragut and Defensive AA or torps Reload + 13.9k HP vs 11.5k. He is not so bad

Dido is great, it's down side is the smoke and firing angles, however that thing is just a filthy dmg farmer. I used her in the previous ranked and I did easily get 80k plus.

My T6 bbs are Dunk, Novo and spite… tend to do a little better in the Novo, but I’ve ended up using. Shinonome. Got to rank 2 bronze then I had a row of meh games.

Repulse and renown over the west VA 1941.... I agree with a lot of your rankings, but not that one. 16 inch guns at t6 means you have Yamato levels of overmatch. Look up wows by the numbers, no other BB matches it's average damage.

It also the only BB in the game which can citadel other BBs which show you broadside at 18km+ range (range module+spotter). My favourite Tier 6 BB as well as Mutsu. Both deserve strong S Tier

T-61 doesn't belong in ranked, may as well lets a T8 ship in the T6 ranked. Cvs or subs also a terrible idea.

I think this ship lists are pointless bcs everbody has its own style of play,i would dare to say most of t6 cruisers are shit,for example i dont like graf spee which is here S tier bcs its one of the easiest cruisers to citadel and it has only 6 guns so bad players will always try to use all guns and probably expload,flamu is great player but i think you need to find what suits you best
