Mil gracias!!!!

This is the best flan I've ever tasted! It was a comedy of errors for me making it today, first I spilled 1lb of sugar on the floor, then I forgot to add the eggs and took the mixture out of the cake pan to add them back in, then I burnt my hand on the oven rack! But it was all worth it! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Xxx

I tired this recipe different ways, this one sounds like the perfect proportions of ingredients. Most on other "fancy" networks use less condensed milk and make it come out too light and fluffy at the end. No bueno! This is perfect, thank you!

I dont like it on the actual flan but u can add on top for decoration. Flans are supposed to be creamy and smooth, if u add to the actual flan it will no be smooth. What i did, i toasted it on a baking sheet for about 4 minutes (cheking it so it wont burn) and placed on top. Oh it was so yummy. I might make again and make a video. 😘😘👌

Hey, the process is the same... depending on how big or small your pan is. If its small but deep, try about an hr. if u get a toothpick in and comes out clean is ready. if ur pan is larger and shallow then it will be about 45 to 50 minutes. do same toothpick test. Let me know how u did 😘

You boil enough water that when u put the pan in a bain of marie will get to at least half way of the smaller pan (the one where you have the flan). Some times the water evaporates and u need to add a bit more. I just put enough basically. Sorry i cant give an specific amount. Xoxo

Hi Sue, I just made your flan using the same Bundt mold. I had a hard time brushing the melted sugar up the tube, it keep getting stuck to my brush and began to get hard very quickly! You made it look so easy....where did I do wrong? I followed your recipe exactly the way you did it. That was the hardest part for me....I hope my flan comes out ok when it's time to flip it😣...any suggestions??
@Suexoxo7 жыл бұрын
Li Lo i think (and i wasnt there to see how u made ut but i will imagine) you let the caramel get too dry or cold. AND YOU HAVE TO WORK FAST. Because once it cools down it turns hard. if you work fast it will stay runny and that is why u can spread it with the brush. if it turns hard, you can put it on the stove for a couple of seconds, so it can melt again and continue brushing. try that AND PLEASE let me know if it worked for u. I really hope it does.
@ladylilo60447 жыл бұрын
Hazlo con Sue Hi again, OK the first one came out good even though I had a hard time brushing up the sugar, you are right I probably wasn't fast enough. So today I tried it again and it came out better, lol. I just want to say to your viewers not to worry about this sticking to the pan if they use this Bundt mold, I have the same one and it came out super easy, thx again Sue! God bless you🌻

How do you avoid bubbles?
@alaumudir6 жыл бұрын
You lift the pan a bit and drop it softly against the counter so the bubbles come undone (while the pan is dry and before puting it in bain marie). Tapping also works, softly and gently, the bubbles will break.
