Hilariously, AUF Bond, while he looks like five men combined into one, he's actually based on a real British actor. He was also going to be the model for Nightfire if they couldn't get Brosnan, and shows up as male party guests in the castle.

Note, the PC version used the original outline intended for the console version. The console devs ran out of time to implement all the levels leading to cut levels, story changes, and removal of gadgets. The cutscenes originally used AuF placeholder model which is why the GBA version uses it sometimes. Early promo trailers of the console version have this placeholder as well. AuF and Nightfire were created by different teams but they borrowed concepts from AuF. The car sections of both games were made by Need for Speed development team but the Nightfire car levels suffered as the NfS team was busy at the time.

Agent Under Fire and NightFire just felt like natural evolutions of GoldenEye's gameplay, and also far more successful at letting you be James Bond. The late 1990s and 2000s were basically the golden age of James Bond games, weren't they?

They probably just aged better. Stuff like how the graphics and voice acting are readily apparent, but there's also to consider how the upgraded hardware allowed them to have more intricate level design, complex missions and objectives, and the little touches and details that just wasn't possible with a max of 64mb on a cartridge.

This was a very fun video to watch. I loved playing this on my GC. It was always a toss up between playing this game or Time Splitters 2. The PC version I got to play last year. While I don't think it's as good as the console version it was still fun to play a different version I never played before. The GBA version is a very ambitious game for the system. Maybe a little too ambitious. I would like to see in the future, Everything or nothing be talked about. Again I played the GC version as a kid and back in the late 2000's I got the GBA game and what was really cool was seeing how both games supported the GBA link cable. Your GBA turned into a “Q Transmitter” which showed your time, kills and even helped you when you got close to an objective you would hear M's voice. By this time I already had a PSP but the GBA was still a fun portable system to play on road trips and at the time where PSP games cost almost as much as a new game on a home console. In comparison, I got everything or nothing loose and other GBA games loosely for peanuts are some of my fondest memories as a pre teen. :)
