Personally, I'm absolutely loving that the fans of good old lower league sides are completely ignoring the directives from on high and the 'moral panicking' of the so called 'media', regarding pitch invasions and use of flares. Good on yas!

In the 80s (yes I'm that old) I used to watch Colchester United on Friday evenings and Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoons. It was standard practice for fans to run on to the pitch at the end of the Colchester matches. These days all clubs will be digging up and resurfacing the pitch in the close season so an end of season friendly pitch invasion seems harmless.

I don't think County fans would have given Salford nearly as much shit at the final whistle had they not started singing Que Sera Sera with 7/8 minutes of extra time still to go. Salford angered the football gods.

@@geoffpoole483 yes true Geoff I’ve enjoyed most of the ride and met some great fans along the way too . I’m glad we automatic this time even after that epic end to 2000 at Wembley. Been nice to sit back and enjoy the battles was actually bit worried about playing Peterborough the most even though we beat them well at their place . Sheff weds almost came unstuck what a finale lol . Gonna miss people like knappers who like us watch their team through good times and bad

I want Stockport County to go up they will play your club in two of the 12 months of the year first will be one of home or away other will be one of the other both venues will be at Fleetwood Town Highbury Stadium other Edgeley Park they still will be in EFL Trophy and EFL cup should they get promoted one way or another as the song goes
