i love lucas black's accent. as i got older i often wondered why he wasn't in more movies even though he has a handful of accredited work to his name and found out it was because he would only do movies that allowed him to speak with his authentic southern accent. talk about loyal to your roots. i adored him in this movie. such a well told story. i wanted a horse of my own after i saw this movie and even though my fam had enough money to get one my mom refused. my feelings were so hurt.

little does connor know hes gonna end up gettin the horse and then trading it for a muscle car, going to a high school only to end up racing some punkass kid in a red viper and winning with the cost of his car, causing him to go to japan to learn to drift! :)
