Good vid 👍. A bit of advice, if you look into the hydraulic drive for the tank make sure your tractor will have enough flow to run a dribble bar macarator as well. I expect it will become compulsory for everyone before too long.

Wide angled shaft is the way to go, easier to work and when Nicole starts doing the spreading she won't have trouble lining it up to the tank 😉.

We had rain like that up here in the Western Isles beginning of this year or the end of last, and I had all my 6inch pipe overflowing even the 12inch we have a couple of smaller pipe flowing to couldn't handle it. I am just hoping it doesn't happen too often because upgrading the pipe to 8inch won't be cheap

Good job with the transport box. We use a tractor grader from Fransgard ( there is some advertised on done deal atm) I know you love a proper tool for a proper job and if you have a few cattle passes it is a super piece of kit for leveling and cleaning gravel roads.

Talk about bad shovel handles Adrian, my dad was doing a digging in the garden or something like that last summer and he broke the handle on three shovels😂😂either the handles were crap quality or too much of this💪😂😂

If you're buying new handles in a coop or wherever Adrian, 2 coats of linseed oil on them, let it dry for 24hrs and then ready for use. Helps protect it and also stops it developing mini splinters later in life!

Nice one Adrian. You need to concrete that lane and then it won't matter what rain falls. Nice job with lights on the tank. I would much prefer strobe lights on the tractor to the beacons. Strobe lights are extremely visible and dont cause too much distress to other road users. Anyhow, be safe, be seen. I would prefer the hydraulic conversion to the power shaft.

Im pretty sure you can get a heavy duty clutch made specially for tractors with loaders? It does make it harder to press though. Dont know if this is any help but anyway. Keep up the good work

There is a lever on the kit that allows you to turn it off and on at the pump, there’s a great system in fairness. Cheers Eamon 👍

Instead of stones use tarmac planings u get for free when they are re surfacing a road and they plane off the top layer , my grandads farm used to get lorry loads free as the company were needin somewhere to dump it , when u put it down it goes solid and won't wash away like gravel

Tarmac plainings are absolutely terrible for the environment. If you look in certain parts of the video you can see a lake has formed on the other side of the passage. All that oil gets washed out and dumped in the water table. Eventually. It really is Terrible stuff.

Once ya put it down it goes rock solid again , good use for a waste product , and most crews who are doing resurfacing are glad to get rid local instead of drawing it hours to somewhere so are happy to give it free

Good hot summer days and a belt of a vibrating roller. The local gaa pitch got loads of it to put on the carpark and it was a fine job. I'll still stand by what I said about the runoff though. It has being found to contaminate water supplies.

If u change the pump to hydraulic drive if u ever put a dripple bar on u wont have enough oil flow in the tractor to drive the pump and the Maserstor on the dripple bar
