Just addressing all the comments about the controller placement: I agree if this was a regular scooter that could be an issue. But you have to take into account this scooter is designed for a racing track, it will be perfectly smooth. Also you can see the dimension at 2:41, the 150a controller is only 31 mm thick, so you are barely taking an inch away of clearance. There is about 7.75 inches of clearance to the frame, you can see it at 4:07, so that would still give you over 6 inches of ground clearance with the controllers mounted underneath. That is plenty of clearance imo, but I also mentioned to them about mounting the controllers to the side of the deck, or even in the neck and rear footrest. We will see on the final model how it looks when I get it, hard to speak on this prototype without all the features such as the screen, power switch, etc. My next video on this will be on the complete model, I stressed the importance of this to everyone involved. For a track scooter it's not much of an issue imo, you still have 6+ inches of clearance

For that price I can get the 3 top mildly affordable scooters on the market - Inmotion RS, Nami Burn E Max 2 and the Kaabo GTR. Or, you can buy one of each - Emove Roadster and a Dualtron X Limited. No to mention I already see design flaws. Good luck.

You're not wrong, the price is up there with Rion and Weped, but it's not completely out of the ballpark some of those cost $20k. Could buy ten awesome mukuta 10+ for that price but you still see people buying these high end hyper scooters. Rion has a two year wait list for this very reason. I can't afford it myself, but there are a lot of rich people out there that easily can and will buy this scooter without a doubt.

How did the fine throttle control feel on the flash scooter? Was it smooth accelerating and easy to hold a given speed?

Excellent video! Hold up...the controllers are going to be mounted exposed on the bottom of the deck?! That kills clearance and puts a vital piece too exposed in a dangerous location. That's a deal breaker all by itself.

I think I'm going to grab 3 of the 60a controllers and mess around with 1 single motor scooter and 1 dual motor scooter. 60a is a ton of power most people don't realize. Let alone if you build a molicell pack and put the 150a in your wolf it would absolutely rip

Taking a poll regarding the Flash Motors product line. I received an unsolicited call from a sales representative in Cyprus last week that asked me several questions about my proclivities and interests in scootering. Essentially it was a sales pitch to buy one of their flagship models on and through a financing plan. Does anyone own a Flash Motor scooter and can you attest to its qualities?

60a phase current is quite low even for a normal scooter, if you remember 100A on yours seems like a good thing to drive a middrive on an ebike though like a BBSHD

I don't know what the final price will be yet sorry. I'll know more once they get me the final production model for testing. Most people would set the second one around 60 battery amps and 150 phase amps to get the maximum benefit out of their stock batttery when they upgrade from it. I was very limited in this test because we were only able to get a regular 72v battery last minute. So 60 battery amps and 150 phase was all I could test it at. Should be way faster with the battery they built for it with better cells and BMS?

i think their controllers are far too expensive, $950 for a 150 phase amp controller a 350A 3Shul vesc based controller is around $400, which you can get in an extra high voltage version and the Tronic 250 is around $300

This whole scooter is far too expensive tbh it should not be more than maybe $5K if they want to be competitive with the scooter market. $950 for a controller is batshit crazy lol thats the first time they have released the price in months... They said they would send us a scooter, then they were supposed to send us controllers to test. Haven't received anything or heard back from them inawhile now....

@@ScootaGang I agree, the only real thing it's got over other hyper scooters is that it doesn't use the generic 10-14A cells like Nami etc like those are actually ran fairly close to their limit it atleast uses Samsung 21700-50S cells which are actually pretty damn good and if the battery gets monitored and limited up to 80°C approx 35A per cell continuous, which means in the case of Flash Motor's 8P pack approx 280A max

This thing is absolute garbage for that price. Really sad to see you're buying into the hype of this ugly thing. For 10k you can currently get a lot better and a lot faster than this. Inmotion RS, Emove Roadster, Velity 511S (or R), Momen Tricher, or even better yet, for 10k you can get a chassis of your choice, slap a molicel pack along with a pair of high discharge VESC controllers and build something that literally destroys this thing.

it was either poorly packaged or customs ripped it apart due to the country it come from and assumed drugs smuggling etc cyprus is used for many things, tax evasion, drug smuggling...quite hot country to ship stuff from. I guess they took the battery for inspection? max fun are bringing out faster scooters this year as well!
