Hi sir. I'm using canon 6D mark too. I borrowed speedlite canon 580 ex ii. So how many trigger do I need to buy ? I saw some people put one trigger on camera and another one on the flash and some people use only one trigger. Why they do that ? Later I'm going to buy my own flash. Probably 470ex ai. Do I need to buy two trigger or not ? Thank you for responding to me.

Thanks, Sotthea. If you are using the Speedlite off camera, you need x2 parts to the trigger: a transmitter that sits on the hotshoe on top of the camera and a receiver that fits on the flash. Does that makes sense?
