@@denesolah1328 Also when Flash lost to Queen in ASL S9 in the semis i think, people were already getting close to him in skill and Flash tried to win the Bo5 with timing attacks and weird builds, maybe due to wrist injuries, getting up there in age and not having an answer to the late game Zergs introduced around that time. So he went for Random in S10 because he wasnt feeling confident and maybe unable to play long TvZ with SK terran vs top Zergs. He was kinda at the end of his rule and it coincided with him deciding to join the military duty. And almost 4 years later his skill due to age, lack of practice and even motivation wont be at high level after what happened to his image and financial savings. He needs to get grinding like crazy to get into the groove again, if its even possible for him due to health reasons. Next SSL will be CRAZY if he is decent form and decides to join in the fray.

@@siIverspawn He didnt win 4 seasons in a row, he won S2, S3, S4, then missed S7 due to wrist issues, won S8 which was the previous season and in S9 lost closely to Queen in the semi final. Before the S9 started, he again stated that he is having health problems again and other players suspected including Artosis that he will try to avoid grueling long games with SK terran and try to focus on mind games, timing attacks and early game advantages, which he did but it wasnt enough.

Damn, Flash really got suckered in by the "I'd like to speak with you about an investment opportunity". But real talk, pro athletes of all types can be quite vulnerable to this sort of thing, as well as gambling; they spend all their time doing one thing, often cut off from the outside world, which can result in them being fairly naive, and of course they make money, which makes them targets.

Crypto scams are just a common problem now and because it is a new problem there are going to be many people vulnerable to them. It was a dopey mistake from Flash but I feel for him. In any case the big news is FLASH IS BACK.

The way you said Flash at the end of the video gave me chills. I don´t know Flash´s personality, but he really seems to mean it, acting quite humble. Even when he streamed after the prerecorded video, i had the feeling that he is avoiding eye contact with the camera quite a lot, like he still felt guilty. I don´t know about the whole crypto stuff. Resume: Flash got super greedy and invested 700k USD thinking that he is going to get omega rich when he was already so rich but he got scammed and now since he is poor and also humble because it seems that being poor also makes you humble then he wants to get back into Starcraft to make money again. Well you might get your wish. Public repentance in specialized TV shows is a very common thing in Korea. For example if a K-Pop star is caught with soft drugs they are expected to just stop working for 1-2 years (not earning anything is very important for this apparently) and then tour talk shows and game shows and talk about their mistakes. Its kinda a cool mechanic, keeping celebrities in check. But also it sometimes really seems draconic. For Flash I would say this video is enough. What do you expect him else to say. He was stupid enough to get scammed for months and admitted it.

The outrage is bogus and overblown. Not quite a Kim Garam scale of witchhunt but still pretty bad overall for the circumstances. In terms of scandal severity it's practically nothing compared to real scandals like actual cheating and homewrecking, real fraud that rips people off for substantial amounts of money, drugs, violence, sexual assault or any other issues that go on. With the level of outrage and his bowing down you'd think Flash was caught on video in the Burning Sun scandal or something. Even if Flash did scam his fans or even shill the coin to people, which he did neither of those, it still wouldn't match the level outrage he's getting. There's really no reason to be that mad at him and the level of hate doesn't match the situation.
