There is a hold lurker trick. If you select the lurkers with an overlord you can get them to hold fire. You can delay the lurkerattack by 1-1,5 seconds. You then kill 8-9 marines with the first salvo instead of 3-4. Dont know how to do the trick. The 2 lurkers sent to the middle were meant to ambush reinforcing marines but the lurkers arived too late to setup the trap and the lurkers had to flee.

I do not dare purport that my understanding of Broodwar is anywhere near the FalconPaladin. However, I find it hard to believe that making 8 slow lings early on in life jettisoned Jaedong into an unstoppable destiny of failure and death. I experimented with far worse in high school and college and I was able to turn it around one day at a time. If anything, there are much deeper criminogenic risk factors at play here; 8 slow lings is merely a symptom of the underlying disease.

Indeed perhaps the early lings slowed down Jaedong's production just a bit -- however it is a game of poker with the build orders sometimes. If Flash would've gone command center first, it would have been a 3 minute gg -- and likely never cast on this channel! So a bit of a "survivor" bias against aggressive builds on a channel like yours Falcon where a short game wouldn't be cast.
