This helped A LOT! Natural light has always been my preference. As I started photographing beauty and fragrance products, the need to try and use a constant light source indoors has been a learning curve; mostly self-taught. I’m not a fan of flash and I was happy to see the instant light source you showed in your video. That’s something I did not know about. Thank you!

@@LukeAyers I went to the car boot sale this morning. I was absolutely laughing myself silly. Talk about meant to be. Picked up a 5500K photography light for a £1.00!!!! Using it rightly or wrongly I’m going to be testing this out on a hand-held XRF analyser at work. I’m working on creating marketing collateral and the Chinese manufacturer doesn’t have any photos of our newly branded product.

Nicely done! However I cannot overloook the control over other lights that the flash provides unlike the constant one.

I would imagine it to be easier to control for light falloff (inverse square law) with a flash than with constant light. I'd like your thoughts on this...

My photographs always tend2 blow all google images out thwater. Ezactly what y said. U get th whole preview. Ask th camera questions is theyes of th sun. 95% WHICH constant light do u prefer. . Distance, angle. Used 2b cameras wrkd. Now cameras are largely advertisements engineered with deliberate cripples 2 require this that & th other. Hence now days even once u upgrade u have 2go out buy endless stream of additional products 2get thd*mn thing2wrk.
