At least it was reiterated there. Wally was officially crowned the fastest man alive during the Flash war storyline, when Hunter Zolomon had aquired the power of the forever force, following the Force Quest story.

There are plenty of anime series' or franchises that have continued or been rebooted/remade after the original author, be it novel, manga, or director, have passed away. In Dragon Ball's case, a company called Shueisha owns the rights to the entire franchise, with Toei owning anime stuff and Bandai owning merchandising stuff. Toriyama's credited as series creator, and they consult him on things, but Dragon Ball would undoubtedly continue on without him. It's done it before, and it's too big a beast to be stopped.

Thesd two are proof that speedsters are far two overpowered. Like actually outside of story related moments, very, and I mean VERY, few can actually beat them besides each other. If a top ten most broken, overpowered characters in fiction list existed, these two would definitely be on it without question.

As someone’s who’s a bigger fan of Sonicverse and Dragonball, I had no problem of Archie Sonic losing to Wally West Flash or Goku losing to Superman. The feats that the DC/Marvel superheroes accomplish are absurd and broken especially by Superman and Black Adam for ex. The problem is you got so many Sonic fanboys constantly crying about how Archie Sonic should’ve won and claim he’s invincible and unbeatable and tend to overrate some villains like Solaris in the Sonicverse. As far as I concerned the DC/Marvel universe faced some more powerful villains like Trigon, Sabbac, Dr. Manhattan, Thanos, and Darkseid for example.

Honestly to me GT is a better and more consistent story and concept than Super. As a continuation it makes more sense with the canon than Super. And I enjoyed it more than Super. GT also could’ve been much better in execution than it turned out

Sonic is not an anime character he's a video game character not to mention the sonic used in this death battle is archie sonic the sonic from the Archie comic book series which is American. And even if sonic was created by a Japanese company he takes heavy influence from old icons of American cartoons like mickey mouse and Felix. The people that also made sonic were only involved in 4 games all his others games are done by different people

Archie sonic was popular enough to run 290 main comic issues and run for 24 years straight. it sold thousands of copies. So don't just assume that your experience of media is the same as everyone else's. Also what exactly makes a version of a character the "regular version"? is it the length of time they existed? like the longest running version is the "regular" version? Is the first version of the character the regular version? is it based on the current time period? is the regular version of the character the current version of the character? That such a vague and subjective term. Someone could literally consider any version the "regular version"
