This is why you watch the breakdowns of both characters. It's ARCHIE Silver, who like Xeno Trunks, is a very different beast from their canon counterparts as both are the most busted versions of the two.

Exactly, even when I didn’t like that trunks lost, I understood that this version of Silver wasn’t Silver but Archie Comics Silver, a character that is unbelievably broken in terms of Fiction. Archie Silver wouldn’t have won if he didn’t have the Chronos emerald, but of course in this match up they are supposed to be at their best, with all of their abilities in tow, including broken Items like trunks’s Key sword of time and The Chronos emerald. So the lesson to be learned is that if any character in Deathbattle or even just logically and put up in conversation is fighting against an Archie comic character especially Archie comic Sonic Characters, they will lose unless that specific character can match or surpass the amount of bullshit that comes from Archie.

Because one, they NEVER go into full details, the only characters they really support are DC and marvel because anime is too confusing for them, like they for one when they did VEGETA VS THOR, it was the fastest one they released EVER they low balled both characters in that one and used both versions of both characters which you should NEVER do, they mix cannon and non cannon together, and they say their universe doesn't compare but yea it does lol the sonic universe is roughly eight times our own, yet the dragon ball seventh universe alone is thirteen times bigger than our own, like come on what are y'all doing? Vegeta in blue evolution would actually be an even fight, when they said he beats ultra ego Vegeta I laughed and unsubscribe after trying to give them the benefit of the doubt

@@alexhenry1984 ok says I understand that, but to be fair, Vegeta never got the hang of Ultra ego’s full power and potential and was the equivalent of Ssj3 in terms of downsides and God of Destruction Toppo in terms of power, and the downsides amazingly outweigh everything else about the form. So really he shouldn’t have even popped the form in the first place but they included it because people would bitch about it not being included even though it was shown in the manga already that the form at its current state since Vegeta just got the form, is incomplete and the power not mastered.

@@joxyver actually he's had it for over a year now lol, and yea it's not mastered and yet its almost on par with ultra instinct Goku in power, and the whole thing with death battle is a literal joke, Goku and Vegeta in their base currently makes most of the characters in marvel look like child's play, their stronger in base then when they first turned super Saiyan god, and remember each form time's it by their base, super Saiyan is times fifty times over and their base is stronger than being able to destroy the entire seventh universe, so that literally means they can destroy the seventh universe over sixty times over, and actually ultra ego doesn't drain stamina like ssj3, it's similar cause their both raw power but they quite literally got lazy with that one and we're like "yea we did all the information"

And it was _really_ down to the wire there. They weren’t both on the brink of death or too exhausted to fight anymore, but if it wasn’t for Wally’s one foot over Sonic, essentially a Pokemon type advantage, Sonic would have stomped. It was really down to that. Was Wally’s reality escaping power, strong enough to escape Sonic’s reality warping? The answer was yes, but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time because it felt like it could have gone either way.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of salt surrounding this one (to be expected ofc, Sonic and Dragon Ball are kinda notorious for that) overall I think it is really close and could go either way. I think the episode was really solid and their reasoning seemed pretty rational and valid. Like you said, the speed thing is the only real hiccup but it makes sense that Silver would be faster and has more concrete incalculable speed feats.

I'll never get tired of seeing DragonBall fans get humbled by nearly every other comic character they fight, and this is coming from a longtime DragonBall fan, lmao. They can't take L's at all. Now obviously Trunks would've had an advantage over game canon Silver, but that just wouldn't have been interesting, and been a repeat of Shadow Vs. Vegeta, where he would wait out the invincibility, then delete him. But having Heroes Trunks Vs. Archie Silver was based, and anyone that knows the total asspull of power that is the Archie Sonic cast, should have expected this outcome. The only way Archie Sonic lost to Wally in that other DB, is because he's f**king Wally West.

Yeah, but specifically if he had watched it from the beginning, he would’ve learned that they are focusing on Xeno trunks which basically would include future trunks all the way up to Goku black and then essentially it goes to dragon ball heroes, and then Xenoverse. There’s also the fact that if he had watched the beginning he would’ve learned more exactly what Xeno trunks can do and he would’ve learned exactly what Archie silver can do. It’s why I still want him to react to if he didn’t do it already GanonDorf versus Dracula because DevilArtemis animated that one and it was great. But I would want him to watch it from the beginning and not skip to the fight and skip the results because it takes the fun out of learning their abilities, and why the loser lost.

@@thatdorkinthecorner8617 true but how do you calculate an Archie super form? In this circumstance I can understand why silver beat trunks while Archie sonic lost against Barry Allen the flash. In that case Barry had the ability to go fast enough to go through time and this was DC. Here it was pretty much based on power and speed a bit and we are using dragon ball universe rules and so in this case, it’s still perfectly reasonable of wide trunks lost in the first place. I almost want to say it’s almost like another case of Goku versus superman except in this case, it didn’t really revolve around limits, but more so tying in power levels and speed which apparently are connected based on what was stated.

I'm going to do this now before more people come in the comment section with the misunderstanding statement... There are many people that have used Ian flynn's statement that was posted on Twitter talking about this fight and people taking it as him saying that Silver would lose to Trunks despite Silver using the Chaos Emeralds and Time Stone... But that's not what he's saying at all, Ian states that Silver using the Chaos Emeralds and Time stone made the match unfair and that base form silver would lose to base form trunks, this is just the result of people either taking what is said out of context just to fit there narrative or just really misunderstanding what he actually said. I mean Hell Death Battle even says this too in there post battle analysis stating that Base silver would lose to base trunks and stands no chance in winning, even as super silver his physical attacks probably wouldn't do much against ssj1 trunks, especially considering that silver barely had any experience in hand to hand combat as well as having experience using a Super form unlike Archie Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow. And mind you all that this is the same guy that has stated a lot of OP bullshit in Sonic's Cosmic scale/Feats.(Archie more specifically) recently through the bumblebee podcast and admitted to trolling the powerscaling community by saying that Archie Sonic can't beat Heroes Goku on purpose.

Archie super forms are immune to the sword cause super sonic and mega man were immune to the super genesis wave an event that was destroying all of reality(time space the chaos realm ect) and they weren’t just immune they rewrote the universes of both their worlds so obviously silver is immune and to top it off silver is already decoupled from time due to his cronos control so he’s already a walking paradox adding his super form is pretty much overkill.

OK 1st of all I'm giving Kaggy major props for bringing up his concerns about rooster teeth as it just feels good to hear that even hes not a big fan of what they've been doing and secondly this fight was super cool! We got references to both Sonic 0 6 dragon ball heroes freakin even dragon ball GT when GT goku and GT Pan came in to help trunks and we even have a dragon ball Z Abridged reference when trunk said c*** baskets lol. That being said the end of this fight even though I grew up with dragon ball Z and sonic the hedgehog, the end of this fight was complete and utter BS. Trunks had this in the bag and then that happened which makes me very disappointed but still a very fun video Kaggy!

Just so you know: Archie Sonic Characters are not like Game Sonic Characters. Sonic himself it the greatest example. In his own base form ran across at least 1,000 Universes in a single day, just with his speed. In Super Form he can destroy time and space. Ultra Sonic can open portals to different worlds and interact with physical matter. and that's only 1 Super Emerald + A Billion Power Rings. He was able to go Super with one Super Emerald. Now imagine if Hyper Archie Sonic was a thing. 7 X Infinity from the Super Emeralds plus Infinity from the Master Emerald. And all the traits he had before was carried along with him. The people at Archie Comics had no limits, and it doesn't seem like Archie Sonic does either. It's better to be on his side rather than against him.

Base Silver could hold Super Scourge, a stronger version who effectively no diffed a Super Sonic that could rewrite reality into whatever he wanted at any time as well as having basic immunity to reality warping. BASE Silver was holding him back. Then there’s Enerjak who no diffed everyone in Mobius, including Super Sonic and Super Shadow, Shadow having even better control over reality warping than Sonic and Silver was casually brushing off his attacks. And DB was completely correct with the Genesis Wave. That rewrite the Chaos force which is Omniversal and the Super forms just didn’t care about that. If anything, Trunks should have gotten stomped even harder.

Also Ian Flynn also disagrees with the outcome, so I take his word over Deathbattle. Especially since they gave Silver everything he'd possibly need to win, while they just gave Trunks the Time Sword(IDK it's official name). Deathbattle also picks different feats from various iterations of characters, across different forms of media, to fit their narratives, which is entertaining, but not always fair.
