Love the ratcheting sounds when Cain moves certain parts, the "whirr" of satisfaction he feels when he gets his nuke high, the otherworldly sound of the electrical discharges after his CPU/brain is destroyed. Classic.

The stupid cops there with useless pistols. They should have had military grade equipment, beyond the armored aliens style cruiser. If they had the tech to make him, they had the weapons to take him down. Their incentive is their reputation and the lawsuits. But I loved Robocain. I think the fight could have gone on longer, with Robo getting some stronger weapons to make it more interesting.

What I love about the film Robocop are the realistic design-function relationship in the details of Robocop's body, for example the hydraulics on his legs and neck, the hidden gun holster in this thigh. It's not just a science fiction but sets possibilities in engineering and technologies. Add to this FX the cool targeting system in his visor...which is similar to today's weapon techs.

Fun fact for those that don't know, the stop motion in this film was done by stop motion veteran, Phil Tippit. He was responsible for the design and animation of the creatures for that Dejarik board game in Star Wars a new hope. Years later, he would go on to create the horror stop motion master piece, Mad God, a project which took him around 30 years to make. It then released in 2022 and still holds up as a horrific masterpiece

This was an 80s movie. With big corporations as the ultimate bad guy. No wonder OCP went under in part 3. Look at all the wounded/dead civilians, security, police, and the billions in damages, not to mention OCP's bloodied reputation and sheer incompetence.

At exactly 00:40 Did anyone else notice the James Brown scream that the original movie had edited in when the tank is running towards RoboCane? When his 4 arms spread, listen close, and you’ll hear James Brown
