About the “Flat 6ix” Movie
A documentary set in Ontario, Canada, focused on the local sports car, supercar and exotic car clubs and community. Despite its northern climate, Toronto is the 1# location worldwide for McLaren sales and second only to Beverly Hills for Porsche and Ferrari sales.
Local Award Winning Filmmaker and Porsche enthusiast James Hergott examines this phenomenon and looks into the unique personalities within the culture, as well as the various clubs and passion behind this culture.
The city will serve as a character itself. The title is a play on words, serving as both the type of engine in the popular Porsche 911 and the 6ix as a reference to the city of Toronto, as made popular by musicians such as Drake. We show the secret exclusive locations never seen before. We centre on a new emerging car club (Flat 6ix Club) where the personalities all meet up.
The cars are eye candy and we feature some of the most sought after dream cars on the road: Porsches, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Ferraris, Jaguars, Bugattis and many more. They are the fulfillment of childhood wishes, goals and aspirations symbolizing freedom, independence and adventure.
We follow 6ix sports car enthusiasts who represent story archetypes. We are also following the evolving stories of several other passionate and rebellious personalities within the community through the races, the meet ups and rallies. The common trait is a passion for freedom and life!
