Just put ratchet straps from the bed through the rims back to the frame. It will eliminate shock travel. Then hang curtains on the sides. Keeps rocks away From the blinker fluid tank. Need outriggers. Never put a crane or load something without outriggers. Good way to destroy your suspension when you load them 200ton whisker biscuits lol. Best way to keep your tail lights is to never stop. Always keep moving forward. You need air overload shocks or air bags. Shouldn’t be able to shake a truck like that. Means your suspension is shit. Make your side board your Ramps. paint it with bed liner or powder coat. Don’t have to extend the boards. Weld a piece of flat strap over it or a strap on. Make it dove tail. Like a car hauler. Put a hit wire to your fuel filler cap. Somebody tries to steal gas shock em. Right when them fumes are good and hot. Hahah. Take that sucker to sema. Hot dang mater

You should get a trailer stand for the crane. It'll fold away and it'll stay put.

Hi! I’m trying to figure how much clearance is reasonable to keep between the top of the rear tire end the flatbed base. I have a f-150 1993. I don’t plan to load it like crazy. How much is your clearance? Thanks

Measure from top of axle to the frame bump stop and add 2 inches for flex.

Why not just buy a brand new cab & chasis truck and buy an all aluminum flatbed already made from a truck bed company, aluminum never rusts and you can order to your specific needs........just SaYiN

How about learn how to build. Man is more valuable because of his knowledge not his wealth. Sure if the man had wealth he wouldn’t be making videos. If you can’t weld steel you damn sure can’t aluminum. Different ballgame. Aluminum will crack easily if not done correctly among other things.

@@ironjohn5914 just joshing. It’s the effort that counts. You get out there and learn. I’ve seen the best shit break and the ugliest shit survive the storm. It’s all in how you interpret life. I try to imply humor. Makes for interesting conversation and good memories. What counts. Making sure then kids are happy. This proves my point. Raise your hand if a child being raised without grows up to appreciate what’s important, has more respect, patience, heart, and grit them spoiled brats. Growing up poor usually allows kids to explore their communities and learn from the experienced library of knowledge our elders. Its that understanding and natural spirit that makes our country what it is. Not Lamborghinis and men with girls MC weenies
