Flat-Ground Strand Skate Tutorial (Current/Updated)

Added input overlay, used text to simplify explanations, and shortened the video to be bearable. Your FPS will affect when the timing is for the dodge very slightly. As long as you can do the jump and light attack, youll just need to get used to watching for specific moments before diving instead of getting used to a timing if your FPS fluctuates. The difference in 60 and 110 is about .1 second, so if you choose to macro this keep in mind what FPS the macro was being set on. When I first discovered this tech I was having schizo moments in front of a board linking numerous unrelated things with string, I at first thought it could only be done is certain directions, then I thought it was looking for holding space when diving, then I thought it was depending on if people were in the area with you, and from there I got paranoid of quantum shit like how Sparrows observed by other players act differently before I learned it was FPS messing with me because I was running uncapped and every direction I looked gave me slightly different FPS so it was being shifted slightly off each time.

I've tried my best, I can stand on my sparrow but can't get a skate off of it. You'd need to do the heavy attack method, the flat ground method won't work for sure because sparrows aren't long enough to keep you slightly above ground after an eager lunger. I think it could be done, but the timing would be super tight. Better sparrow platforming so it's at a better angle may make that time more forgiving.

@@scorchinorphan1687 yeah i dont think you can strand skate of sparrows then since there too small for both version of skate ill have too stay too shatter skating😑

@@kermitingsuicide4170 You can do the heavy attack strand skate with less then a meter of space, Last I tried, I spawn a sparrow and do a skate off the front of it. I just cant get a sparrow to stay at the angle for it midair and still stand on the sparrow.
