Sad in 2021 girls still go out feeling anxious if showing the smallest amount of skin, but guys can go out topless and nothing is said to them. I went out two days ago with shorts and a top on and a 5minute walk got whistled at/beeped at and the stares were just sooo obvious. Makes me soo angry. Hi sugarplum, Ive been binging all your videos (obsessed), and noticed you talk a fair bit about your hair loss & hairline, and also that you have PCOS. I also have PCOS and have learnt quite a lot about it, and I know just how lost/ confused we can feel most of the time, because its not in GPs training. The hair loss & male pattern baldness (the hairline you speak about) is connected to PCOS & is a symptom of hyperandrogenism (high androgens). The first point of call for treatment is the pill, which works whilst your on it in managing symptoms, but once you come off it they often come back worse than before. What the best thing to do is to find the root cause of your pcos (70% of us are insulin resistant), or could be inflammation driven thyroid driven, or post-pill induced, and changing diet & lifestyle to treat that cause rather than using the pill as a bandaid. For eg. if you're insulin resistant, adopting a diet with lean protein sources (chicken, fish, tofu), low GI carbs (brown/ wild rice, whole grains, lentils), lots of veggies, limit refined carbs & sugar will help a lot. Also targetted supplements, berberine, inositol and magnesium are some of the best for insulin sensitivity. I hope this doesn't come across as unsolicited advice, I just want to help cysters because there is SUCH a lack of information out there about PCOS, and it genuinely breaks my heart! PS keep up the content- lowkey ur biggest fan oxoxox

thank you for talking about your cat calling experience. i also had such experiences and one of them happened last saturday and was worst. i was walking home with my 2 best friends and they asked me if it was okay for me to walk the last 5 minutes alone because they obviously were tired and had a long way walking back home. i kind of had a bad feeling but i agreed because i didn‘t wanted them to walk all the way down the street just to have a longer way home. the second friend suggested to bring me until i can see my appartment and i agreed and we 3 continued walking. then out of nowhere a white van pulled over (he didn‘t just stop he nearly ran us over) and the guy started asking us if he can take us home (i can’t really translate the german sentence he said, "obducting" would be the literal translation). my second friend and i just walked past him and the other friend was behind us and was constantly telling him no in a calm manner. he continued: „hey wait where do you live? we can take you there. is it somewhere near by or further away??" and she repeatingly answered that she won’t tell him anything and that they should please leave us alone. i just turned around and told my friend to let them be and to walk next to us (even though i was furious but the thought to not provoke a dangerous situation luckily took over). Then the van (there were 2 guys, one driving and the other one talking) rapidly drove backwards when all of a sudden cars came by and started honking so the van would continue driving. they then drove off really fast and luckily didn‘t make a turn to continue harrassing us. Now imagine if they went home earlier and i would have walked these short 5 minutes on my own. (sorry for any spelling mistakes, i‘m from germany and still learning.)

I don't know if people in UK use their balconies for anything during the colder times but where I live the balconies get used for nearly 9 months of the year from summer seating to reading nooks with heated blankets and standing heaters, so I would advise to get the biggest balcony, it really is an underestimated space.
