I don’t know who invented wash n go’s or any other wet stylings, but there is absolutely nothing healthy about such and whoever says different they are outright LYING. I can only hope and pray 🙏 that so many people come to realize this (just like I had to) and take heed to the things that you say and show within in your videos that are for the best benefit of everyone’s hair, and, scalp, and overall health as well. I can’t even begin to tell you how many sinus infections and colds I got as a result of doing wash n gos and leaving my wet hair to air dry for hours, or even past a day. But, also, I must deeply speak on just how much it took a toll on my scalp, and had my scalp just irritated, itchy, flaky, and just in a terrrible state for so long. What I was doing was affecting my own health in a very negative way, and I will never ever stop regretting it. Because, I allowed myself to blindly trust info given out by individuals who were and still are self proclaimed hair experts (aka natural hair influencers) due to their popularity within the natural hair community. But, in the end, popularity still doesn’t equal to = true professional expertise. When I think of how much hair I would see in my brush, after detangling my hair, while it was wet, it almost brings me to tears 😭. Which is why, I consider you, Cyn, and your channel, and every single thing that you show and tell us, to be a major blessing. You helped transform not just my hair, my scalp, but most of all MY LIFE! ❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘😘😘✨

Because of working out and scalp dermatitis issues from oil buildup, I need to wash my scalp/hair once a week. Do you think flat ironing weekly is too much and will cause heat damage? I have had heat damage in the past and only wear silk presses so trying to do better in the future. I like what you said about the soft silk press on lower heat. Maybe I will try that. Thanks for your videos!

This is a good question. For me, since I’ve started following her advice, I’ve seen a major difference in my new growth, but also a slight improvement in my oldest hair too, but not as much. I can also tell that the hair growing now versus the hair on the ends are night especially when talking in terms of thickness. My ends are thin-thin. I wear flat twists and from the roots my hair looks amazing, but the years I’ve been unknowingly damaged my hair shaft, it shows🫤

I really want to straighten my hair, but I don't know how best to use heat protectant to prevent heat damage. Should I spray heat protect before I blow dry, for example in the shower after washing and then blow dry and then straighten my hair? Or should I lightly spray a small section (after it has been blow-dried) with a heat protectant and then straighten it straight away with a flat iron, and then do it like that section by section. Because that's what I see people doing. But then your hair is still damp/wet and that means you get heat damage, right? Can anyone help me, I really don't want heat damage :(

Get a leave in conditioner that says thermal protectant in description, you don’t need a heat protectant spray. Spray on the leave in, blow your hair out and then use a thermal styling spray before you flat iron. That’s all your hair needs. • Leave in spray for blow dry • Thermal styling spray for flat iron
